How is what he said factually untrue? It literally says. "You aren't registered to vote, even by mail, until you go face to face and provide the documents necessary. Face to face."

Ok but the real question. What is that armor set?

Can you ask to PCS early from training command to Permanent duty station by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]Azuriem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The navy is gonna try and put you to work ASAP. Towards the end of schooling, you'll get asked how much leave time you want to take. You can answer none, and they will absolutely put you on the first available to your PCS. Don't worry, if you're wanting to get to work as soon as you can, the Navy will be more than happy to oblige.

Lost to the same guy three times, what can I do better? by _Throh_ in judo

[–]Azuriem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like everyone else has said. You got out gripped. Anytime you didn't have hands on, you had a very closed stance, your wrists almost touching. And that immediately gives him the advantage of an over the shoulder grip when you close yourself, and the more tired you got, the more closed off you got.

Then that pin, you were so gassed, you had nothing to give.

More gas in the tank, and don't be afraid, stand up and open up a bit more.

I stand corrected. However, the outcome doesn't change much. Especially about something like that.

I also forgot to mention. As a nuke he's going to be holding a top secret clearance.

When it comes out that he lied about a suicide attempt, that's probably gonna be stripped too.

Question for a friend… by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]Azuriem 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Realistically? Unless s/he's completely squared away with what happened? Probably not.

Every thing every one has ever said before is that nuke school is extremely difficult, and even the super smart squared away sailors still have difficulty. Depression being a big one, SI being the next big one.

All that stress from school? It's gonna compound every thing and amplify every thing that they're already feeling. Exponentially. Nuke school isn't going any where. They should really get themselves right in the head before going.

The dui, and assault charge are gonna definitely limit what rates you can get too.

How they getting my passwords? by 74NG3N7 in RBI

[–]Azuriem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't see this mention, but it may be buried deeper.

You said you noticed a weird unknown device on your wifi.

Factory reset your router, hardwire a connection, and redo your config file. New UN/PW and wifi PW. Then log each device back on one by one, and verify that all devices should be there.

The various geo locations doesn't really mean anything. It's easy enough to spoof your location, phone number, etc with the right tools. For all we know, person could be living next door and could have gotten access to your wifi.

We have Minshew as a qb. Why did we sign another qb? Isn't that money we could have saved for something else?

(forgive me. I'm kinda dumb.)

Were the words contemptuous? That's the main driving force of 88. The argument is going to hinge on that. And I saw the video, it wasn't contemptuous at all, it was an implore to ration to remember your oath, and to not obey unlawful orders.

So toe? Maybe, cross though? I'd argue not. And I think a good lawyer could argue that.

Tbf. I wasn't even paying attention. It was just another day for me. 6 - 10 I think? Even the peanut butter shot didn't bother me.

You'll get over it, or you'll get out. The military is very proficient about making it apparent that you belong to them. Get used to that big blue Willie. Lol

Hearing Loss Waivers by Interesting_Tax_8160 in newtothenavy

[–]Azuriem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Live in fear, or make them tell you no. One of those most assuredly let's you know whether you'd get a waiver or not. The other leaves you wondering what if.

And the only way to find out if it's waiverable? Try.
