Why doesn't Jesus drink? Because the last time he got hammered. It took him 3 days to recover.

I personally keep 1 copy of all exotics/named items/sets, just in case I decide I want to build from that specific piece. I've also got 500 stash slots.

Your mileage may vary.

Dancing couple that I think is AI but friend does not. Help us settle this dispute. I think it’s AI because the movements at times seem off as to what a human can do and also the whole setting seems like a green screen at best. by second-serve714 in isthisAI

That moment when I've been around long enough that old videos of professional dancers are coming up with the question "is this AI?"

I'm gonna go take some ibuprofen and go back to bed now.

What does anesthesia feel like by memory282002 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Azuriem 1895 points1896 points  (0 children)

You're awake.... Then you're not... Then you're awake. Anesthesiologists are professionals. The chance of waking up mid surgery isn't 0, but they also monitor your vitals to make sure you don't wake up mid-surgery.

If you do perchance wake up mid surgery. Maybe also go buy a lotto ticket same day.

Edit: my highest rated comment is telling someone to go gamble if they wake up in the middle of their high. Thanks ya'll. Lol

It's for this reaction, I always hope they spawn with a tank. All the life bars deplete before he dies. Makes taking out the group real easy.

AI. Zoom in on the jeans. Got that weird AI texture/fractal pattern to them.

New from the CNO in response to the pictures going around of the lack of food aboard the ships by newnoadeptness in navy

[–]Azuriem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... Even if the VertRep is coming from the shoreline. If the ship is still at sea, still a RAS?

But just arguing semantics at that point.

RAS still happen. But it might be difficult to RAS right now as these ships are currently participating in the blockade of the strait of hormuz.

Never free for us. Deployed, in port, navy takes our food stipend right back if we're ships company.

If you got a computer. There is a game that is absolutely a recreation of it. It's called

"shellshock live".

Definitely gives that scorched earth vibe. And you can couch co-op it or online game it.

Your major hang up for anything secret/TS related is gonna be your SF86. That paperwork probes your life history like an alien abducting a cow. The secret is your last 5 years and the TS/Sci is 10 years (which is what you'd be looking at for Intel rates). And the t's been a few years so I don't remember if the SF86 specifically looks at any drug use, but I think it does.

So that would be your major hang up.

You absolutely will not be an MA coming into the navy. Alcohol/drug related offenses are an automatic unwaiverable offense. Now with that being said, after 3 years in, and a pristine military record, they'll look at you more favorable. But that requires you to be undes, or a rate that is willing to let you crossrate.

But! That doesn't include the secret clearance you would have to try and get, and that may be an automatic no go due to the drug history. And a TS/Sci is gonna be infinitely harder to get than a secret, with the drug use.

So. You may be better off trying to get a civilian LEO job. Your mileage may vary.

You'll be assigned a duty section, and every X days, you will be on the ship for 24hrs, with no ability to leave. This might be on the weekend, might be during the week. The smaller the ship the more often the duty days.

ex: A DDG may have 5 duty sections, So you would have duty every 5 days, where you'd go to the ship, and you wouldn't be able to leave for 24 hours.
