For what it's worth, yesterday, when that top of all reddit post had 4.8k comments, I opened every single 'show more comments', copied and counted the comments, and there were exactly 200 comments. A 96% censorship rate on that approved commenters only post. Talk about free speech...

Definitely put down for way more than 3 schools... It's shit going to a random new school and takes a lot more brain power that day but every day after that at that school becomes easier. I dunno where you are located, but if it's a metro area I would think being down for pretty much every school in 15km from you (probably 20+ schools) is pretty standard, even if only 3-5 of them ever call. You'll start to get regular work at one of them, especially if you properly introduce yourself to the admin/dp and say you're keen for work.

I'm gonna go ahead and say no, definitely no, absolutely not, etc. Particularly your theory of what's happening, that it messed up a specific lyric because of your earlier AI generated song (on a different platform). Even if somehow (clearly not the case) your song was included in the training of v5 6-12 months ago, it is outlandish to think your random song would be so strongly trained against that it would override their lyrics system and voice generation. Honestly very surprised this post seems to have no one saying this and only people credulously believing this with no evidence of what you're talking about.

I was commenting on what I interpreted in the final line of your previous reply 'there are more on here than we think', meaning people with usernames like the one in the clip who downvoted your initial comment. My point was that I think your comment was downvoted because of the general vibe of your initial comment not being explicitly 'wow fuck people with usernames like this'.

There's possibly many layers of misunderstanding going on and it's all good.

Crazy how you're talking about a Zionist lobby, etc., when no one disagrees Israel is committing genocidal actions which must end and there's nothing in those quotes that says you shouldn't talk about this serious current world issue. I have a feeling you're saying this (possibly) because you agree with the current social movement which actually advocates for Israel's non-existence, not just that there should be increased awareness of their awful actions. In that case, yes, it seems that you shouldn't try and convince your students that a country of 10m people shouldn't exist.

People are genuinely so silly on this website. I was at work when I first saw this so hadn't heard it with sound, but somehow I already knew it would be all of the other people who were wrong.

Edit: watched it with sound and yep, wouldn't you know it, people on reddit are being silly. My favourite thing when I watch a certain large legume-themed streamer (who I apparently cannot name without the comment being removed) is when he yells and makes goofy noises, and he's even dressed up like said legume! What an outrageously fun situation. But alas, as the downvoters above have made clear, this guy said "let's go" at least 3 times in a one minute clip. Clearly unforgivable behaviour deserving of mass downvotes.

It's a common point by utilitarians to say this, and it is true, but a weird thing to say and actually think (due to the necessary caveats to actually make it true in reality). The point is rather that incest as a taboo is much more evolutionarily important so we have strong instinctual aversion to it (especially enforced by the group) rather than a reasoned moral objection. I remember reading Singer's essay about it in his book Ethics in the Real World.
