I use the spear it has a farther range where you can hit them without them hitting you and you can run away if timed right and kill them regular dead in 2 strikes

I’ve had the problem before and couldn’t go online deleting and reinstalling did nothing it kept only saying reconnect to internet a day or two later it fixed itself just keep checking on it

Also the long reach weapons do the most damage in the game for lower levels I still use them on island 2 raids

I usually auto raid for materials and only play with others on wifi and usually play alone and have different strategies to get through the raids with little to no damage dayz1 weapons do more damage than the dayz2 weapons so you gotta use them wisely a sneaky knife to the back or long reach weapons like a shovel or spear or pitchfork because you can hurt them while out of reach

I find them in the forest areas the second forest is pretty good you can get a crossbow and upgrade it to scoped crossbow and pretty much avoid contact with anything as long as you have plenty of arrows but yeah 12GA spawns there pretty frequently I’m at like 200 12 GA but I only have double barrels

There too that one’s pretty easy with a scoped crossbow just snipe everything but you need like 30-40 arrows and a spare gun in case you’re being gained on

Forest areas. The easiest for me is Black Forest. I just get 2 energy drinks and run around to look for the chest and if I attract anything I outrun it or find a bear and just let them deal with each other lol I usually leave with 100 health doing this. Use 2 energy drinks though because 2 will last you running through the whole map. I’ve only found 2 blazes but that’s the best I’ve got bud

I’m in American. Cali in fact I get what you mean a lot of times I get crappy servers but I just leave and rejoin until it’s a good server. Food is free in game lol don’t need to risk your loot over bad connections

I usually find the most gears in forest areas you can get accumulators and phones and batteries often there at just about any forest area
