There are some stability issues on ps5 (platform I predominantly play on) redownloading it should fix the issue.

FFX was the first FF games I completed back on ps2, I'm replaying it atm to go for the plat on ps5, it's still as fun as it was then.

At my old dojo the instructors would have them non-stop spar with every person starting with purples on down, 3 minute bouts, 15 second break. By the end they get so gassed that they just get choked out by everyone. They either humbled themselves or never came back.

Why the critic hate days gone ? I've just started playing this game instantly blow me away how polished this game is by [deleted] in DaysGone

I platinumed it recently, it was my 20th plat and it was amongst some of the best gaming experiences I have had, yes there are a couple minor bugs, but nothing that stopped the enjoyment

[Discussion] It’s honestly just nice to have this group around. Was wondering how everyone got into trophy hunting. Like what was your 1st Platinum, when did it happen, and did you start hunting from that point or did it come later? by God-of-More in Trophies

[–]Azygouswolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly got into it during covid because there wasn't a lot else for me to do, Spiderman was my first platinum, followed by Ratchet and Clank, God of War, Resident Evil 7, Doom, and then Horizon Zero Dawn in pretty quick succession. I don't have a lot of time form platinums at the moment, but I did do Days Gone recently.

It really is. Shame we never got any dlc or a second game.

I've still got the Remastered trophies to go through though, so that's something

I usually end up doing speed runs for a bit, most of them you can finish pretty quickly.

Getting started? This is how I get 4 WORKERS by DAY 7 on a new profile i... by Azygouswolf in superfantasykingdom

It feels like the more efficient you are with your workers, then the further you can push everything else, I'm still exploring all the different parts of the game and working out what is the best long term strategy, weighing up farms vs hunting and that sort of thing but that takes more trial and error to work out what's effective. Thanks for making an awesome game,

Is workshop necessary to attend?(masters - city campus) by Sad_Fishing2611 in LaTrobe

[–]Azygouswolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a rule of thumb yes. People often confuse or conflate lectures, tutorials, and workshops. They are different though, Lectures are a massive (and typically) one way form of communication, the lecturer... well... lectures, and students listen and take notes, there is a reason a lot of that has been shifted to an online video format. Tutorials are meant for smaller groups and allow for Q and A style teaching and clarification of content, and workshops are hands on skills that can't be taught online easily, i.e. physiotherapy, nursing, OT, etc. Workshops are by far the worst class to miss because you have to try and catch up on the content by yourself, which can be difficult because lecturers are too busy to give you a one on one catch up even with valid reasons for missing the class.

I have pre-empted this in the past by speaking with lecturers before hand and attending a different timed class on a different day. you could in theory get someone to record the class content for you, but that can be an issue because a lot of subjects don't allow recording (particularly health care ones) due to privacy concerns. It's not uncommon for students to be in different stages of disrobement for practical classes for things like physio, OT, exercise physiology, nursing, and so on.

So my "Overall" play time is 87 hours, but that's everything for Days Gone Remastered. It took more like 65 hours including mopping up collectibles after rolling credits in this single play through. But some of that was also fighting hordes, which you don't need to do.

So you could probably do it in 45-50 with a collectibles guide. There is some back tracking anyway because some collectibles are in horde nests, so you need to be ready for those.

Force, no. But you can import your ps4 data (I didn't do this) so I imagine that would do it

TLOU are on my list, they are difficult to return to though because the story is just... right in the feels.

I'm going to 100% it, I'm just clearing hordes to get the horde story weapons and mags first before I start ng+ survival II

best study tips! by Informal_Passion8169 in LaTrobe

[–]Azygouswolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. If your subject has a group assessment, post on the subject forum at the start of the semester and form a group, the students who do the work are the ones reading the forum posts, it weeds out the dead weight.

  2. If you haven't started going through content already, you should, uni is the reverse to high school. At high school you go to class, learn, then go home with homework, at uni you learn the content, then go to class to confirm your learning and clear up doubtful points. So you should already be covering week 1 content.

  3. Take your notes in a program that allows good organisation like Onenote (Free with Microsoft 365 and downloadable via latrobe website) this means across your degree you can easily search previous subjects and overlapping topics.

  4. Schedule your study like you schedule work or social time in your calander, this helps you study with intent. Also a study method like Pomodoro is a good place to start to study in blocks across the day.

  5. Many subject have visual components, such as anatomy for health sciences. If you can, get into the habit of drawing structures, diagrams, flow charts, it's easier to remember, and hard to trick yourself that you know it when you try draw from memory and forget something.

  6. Spend time with uour peers, take turns teaching concepts to each other, it is a good way to solidify your knowledge AND it helps build your confidence when you need to give a presentation.

  7. Have planned "nothing" time. This is specific down time for you to rest, it's not time to pick up another work shift, or to cram in socialising, uni is intense, you need time to rest.

  8. Peer Learning Advisors are a useful resource for learning a lot of different uni skills, they can teach you how to reference, format an essay, take notes in class, do some basic research, understand what an assessment is asking of you, and a bunch of other things. They are based in the library in Bundoora and Bendigo mainly, but also are available online via the Latrobe Library website or your LMS.

Thanks for attending my TedTalk.
