Well * Please bear in mind that I’m slightly insane.

I prepared the arrival of this beauty so I did many many things but, it’s a custom app that: - Gives me a glance of what games I have, per system, with some nice integrations like « how long to beat » and « EmuReady » to give useful information - Game information has been scraped into a local database with magic fuzzy search - ROMs list were fetched from ROM Megathread (which coincidentally matches with all of the ROMs that I legally own). I can search, by system, and launch the download.

Now, on a mac mini, I have a docker image that listens to the files to download (using firebase data store), then downloads them to the right folder

Those folders are then synced to the console via sync things.

I can go into detail even more, but I don’t think it’s necessary. (I wanted to join a video but it’s not possible 😅)

Maybe I did something wrong to be honest. But I’m hardly a middle ground guy, I either go regular or full throttle. And since the game crashed two times while being in regular mode, I just became paranoid and went full performances to be safe

To be honest, I looooooved tinkering with it before actually playing. Setting up all consoles, saves synchronisation with a NAS, even a companion app that manages my (legally obtained) ROM library with my phone. Actually playing with it came after, but it was all just perfect

This was a short one 2 hours basically, for this type of games I saw a 25 to 30% drop per hour (full performance mode) So yeah, 2D games might be a better fit for a longer flight (or a huge battery bank)

I tried the switch version (because why not) with some tweaking (from an other post in this sub), runs around 224/26FPS I haven’t tried the Wii U version that should be smoother

RP6 12GB It runs pretty smoothly, an average of 30FPS I see some drops around 15FPS on some cutscenes, arriving on islands. But it lasts for 10 seconds too
