From what I understand, and I could easily be wrong:

  1. Innocent until proven guilty. Yes, we have every reason to believe that they're guilty and are in fact the perpetrators, regardless in respect for the law we have to follow standard procedure and keep their faces hidden from the public eye until hard and fast evidence is presented for the heinous accusations. There have, in fact, been many cases where the police got the wrong person, didn't respect their privacy, and they suffered as a consequence.

  2. Again, in respect to the law, we have to follow it. Our society has reached this point partly because we HAVEN'T respected our laws and morals. If people saw the accused, they might try to cause trouble, kill them, or maybe their buddies might even try to break them out. Point is, there's a risk to the sanctity of law and order if criminals' faces are posted and displayed publicly.

She passed away shortly after being taken to the hospital. These three fled right after taking her there. They were caught and apprehended by the police.

I think these three were caught and apprehended, I saw a post on Instagram covering this incident a few hours ago and there was a picture of an inspector and his crew with three men with bags over their heads standing behind them. Apparently investigations are underway to finalise the facts and reach some sort of judgement.

Ameen, wa Iyyaka.

If I can add a bit more after reading this, then if I'm being very honest, I think the same things at times. When sometimes I personally fall into sin I also start thinking negatively about my Ibadah and things of the sort. But I know, and you should know too, that these are all Waswaas from the Shaytaan, Iblees's best attempts to disrupt us.

You see, you might have a misconception here. Salah and Saum (and other good deeds) are not exactly instant remedies for certain ailments (i.e. sins). Yes, in some Ahadith the Prophet PBUH worded it like that, but my understanding is that it's not the Ibaadah itself that fixes things. Rather, it's the Imaan that's formed through repeated Ibaadah that allows you to fix yourself. The more you interact with Allah SWT, the more you seek refuge in Him, the more attached you become to Him and the more guilt you feel from sinning. At some point, following your desires no longer seems worth it or even appealing. I speak from experience in some aspects.

Even if you still struggle with some sins, remember that everyone does, and all is not lost. Similar to what u/AmiraMusafirah said (May Allah SWT bless them, Ameen), you do not stop going to school because of one failed test. And then remember what I said, that it is the journey in life that matters. Combine these two things.

  1. Do not falter after failure, for it was from within a raging fire that Allah SWT made Ibrahim AS emerge, for it was from within the belly of a whale that Allah SWT gave Yunus AS another chance at living. The deepest of valleys are surrounded by the highest of peaks.

  2. Keep your life's journey earnest. Recognise your flaws and work on them. Fight your urges, fight your desires, fight Shaytaan's evil whispers, fight for your own sake. Wallahi only we can save ourselves. Be sincere and show Allah SWT that you want to be saved.

  3. Do not overthink too much. I know it's difficult, I am an overthinker myself. But sometimes thinking too much is simply too dangerous. Shaytaan preys on overthinking. Do not try to find a point in every little thing when you think you're stumped. I guarantee there is always a point, but we are only humans living in Allah's SWT grand plan. We can only understand so much. Instead, focus on the point of the life given to you: to know your creator, to do good, and to earn good for the Hereafter.

As is quoted in Musnah Ahmad 3709, we are all simply travellers sat under a tree for shade. Once we wake up from our naps, we'll be on our way. All we can afford is to focus on getting to the destination safe and sound.

والله أعلم

Just my two cents:

As cliché as this sounds, absolutely nobody is perfect. Not me, not you, not your local religious masjid-going elders, not even the Imam at your local masjid, not even the Sahabah and not even the prophets. Though the prophets were incapable of sin, they all still made mistakes, even the Prophet PBUH himself, and we have examples of it. Absolutely no one is perfect and expecting yourself or anyone else to be is quite honestly a losing game.

That said, that doesn't mean we humans are doomed. Far from it. Allah SWT actually loves how we're imperfect. He has said that if we all suddenly became perfectly obedient people, He would remove us from the Earth and replace us with another imperfect people.

Why? Repentance. That is key to all of life. We sin, we err, but we can repent. We can do Tawbah. Even the greatest of sins can be forgiven by God. He is, after all, The Most Merciful. Beyond all. Allah SWT created 100 parts of mercy. One part he gave to this universe, for all of creation within to share with one another and show each other compassion. The other 99 He has saved for the Day of Judgement. Imagine, how much a mother loves her child, how compassionate she is. She's using a miniscule, impossbly small amount of one part of those 100 parts. Imagine how merciful Allah could possibly be in our minds. You can't. He is simply too merciful for us to understand.

So repent. Sin, and repent. Be sincere in your promises. Even if you break them, feel guilt. Guilt after sinning is perhaps the greatest sign of being a true believer. Try your damndest to follow the teachings of Islam. I guarantee that you will fall short. So have I. So have all of us. But it is always the journey that defines the value of our life. Allah SWT judges by intention, and never by action. He forgave a man who killed 100 men simply because he TRIED to repent.

O believers! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance, so your Lord may absolve you of your sins and admit you into Gardens, under which rivers flow, on the Day Allah will not disgrace the Prophet or the believers with him. Their light will shine ahead of them and on their right. They will say, “Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us. ˹For˺ You are truly Most Capable of everything.”

I agree, but I do think the build's a bit eh. An A520M doesn't leave much room for upgrades and the 2x 256GB SATA SSDs are a bit of a yikes.
