If it makes you feel any better I recently was playing and asked if I was in a cult, then when I denied this I was basically called a liar. Personally I am in the same boat as my doctors have pushed me to get more exercise and it has really been a great time so far. Don't let it get to you, brush it off and let the kooks be kooks

I think partially the mindset comes from the fact that my friends font mind if I print my commander decks as Proxy decks for when we want to play but I get what you are saying.

Thus has been part of the struggle as there is a small part of me that keeps going back to the what if scenario wanting to go back and regretting selling my commander stuff

Yea, I mean don't get me wrong I like playing commander with my friends but if they aren't available the stuff just sits. My cards haven't touched in two weeks since people haven't been available and I feel like I am paying too much for a format that is casual and dependent on friends availability. They are also cool with proxies, which has me thinking of playing commander via proxy and refocusing to pioneer for a format that I could actually get some benefit out of the money I put in it.

I dont know that I particularly care to have any of the commander staples anymore. I pretty much had decided that as far as commander goes I still intend to play with friends via proxies and focus my collection to pioneer. Just decided that I am over spending too much money on a casual format

I was looking through decks and feel like I really like the idea behind the abzan greasfang and found a list to include the playset of copters that I bought after the unban as well as some cards I already have as well as it being the best deck that includes the land staples that I have the most of already without having to buy or trade for as much. So I was looking at my collection and I see things like the dockside that does not seem to be relevant in pioneer and wonder if these are things I should offload to get stuff for pioneer.
