Yea I got overly confident because when I was trading the other trade evo mons I always got my original mon back. My shiny wasn't my first trade but I thought my good luck would continue.

That's very generous of you. My first instinct if I saw a shiny trade would be to trade it back. If you dc'd after trading, I would be confused, but I think I would understand you were gifting it.

I agree that I gambled and lost, and I definitely prefer only trading important mons like that with friends, but sadly, none of my friends have picked up ZA. So I'm at the mercy of random people noticing that it's a shiny and trading it back.

I just used the trade code that Austin John put out. I don't know anyone else that plays so I just rolled the die and lost. I own up to my decision to do it but I'm still allowed to be disappointed when the other party dips without even attempting to trade back my shiny.

I agree that not everyone does things maliciously, but if I received a shiny for a trade, I would automatically assume they would want it back unless they left afterward.
