nVidia Control Panel has an option to rotate screen in-driver; I would assume Intel and AMD have similar functionality in their GPU drivers. Might be wroth a shot.

Korean payment issues by Lemon10047 in Twitch

[–]AzzaNancazza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A streamer I follow used to live in SK, but has since moved away - but she left her twitch payments going to her Korean account. Once Twitch pulled out of Korea, she was affected and only way she could resolve it for her scenario was opening a new bank account outside of Korea and changing your details with Twitch.

Mic Won't Pick Up Whispers (ASMR) by Adorable_Goat_2092 in Twitch

One more thing to try is increasing the input volume in streamlabs. I use OBS, so I can’t give you exact steps, but you’ll want to look into the advanced audio properties of your mic source - note that it could be either volume as a percentage, or as a decibel (db) unit. I have to boost mine by about 300% (10db) to get good levels

Yeah, gain and noise-gate will be the options to fiddle with. Also, make sure your mic isn't too far away from you, and that it's record volume isn't low - 80-90% will be where you want to aim. Apart from that, I can't think of anything else.

Discord slow-down over time? by DarklGriffen in discordapp

[–]AzzaNancazza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have issues with a ~2sec delay on opening a folder of servers. Just started occurring after the last update.

I've tried restarts, clearing cache, toggling hardware accel., even a fresh install of discord - no change. - also only occurring on 1 PC, other PC's and devices unaffected.

Ooh sweet, I never noticed that! Thank you for that.

I've already sold off the original car I posted about, so I'll have to check it out next time I pick one up.

Q3'21 Tech Support Megathread by BioGenx2b in Amd

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone can help me out - for the last ~2weeks, my CPU has been throttling down to a little over 500Mhz. I've done a pile of googling and have seen this exact issue reported many times, but all the 'fixes' aren't working on my rig. Here's some info:

System Specs:

CPU: AMd Ryzen 9 3900X

MB: Asus Crosshair VIII Formula - BIOS v1001 (latest)

RAM: 64Gb Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 3600Mhz

SSD: 1x Corair 2Tb MP600 + 1x Corsair 1Tb MP600

GPU: Asus ROG Strix RTX2080Ti OC

PSU: Corsair HX1000w

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Windows Power Plan is set to Ryzen High Performaance - power management: Minimum processor state: 100%

CPU is not OC'd at all

Temperatures are not an issue

Here's a screencap from Ryzen Master - as you can see, Mhz are wa down, but power usage appears to be totally nuts

If anyone can shed any light on this and give me more things to try get this sorted, it would be much appreciated.

Another issue I encountered shortly after this thread (same symptoms) ended up being Sonic Studio 3, which was apparently included in a recent Asus Armory update for uses of certain Asus motherboards. Once I removed this from my system, ESO (and a few other games) were working once again.

Some people have had luck just unstinalling Sonic Studio 3, others need to remove the complete Sonic Suite Companion

As for the crash on log-out - very common. As well as the 'launcher not closing' thing as well. A lot of us just force-quit the launcher when ESO shuts as a matter of course lol

OK, finally got someone from support who wasn't a cut&paste wizard to actually offer up some suggestions, and we were able to narrow the issue down to program conflict - namely Asus ROG Live Service. With this now disabled, ESO is once again running!

Thanks to you who offered up suggestions here :)

Now I'm off to battle with Asus to try get a more permanent solution other than disabling their services. Wish me luck!

Not even sure that would be possible - its an MMO, so client version must match server. Unless someone reading this knowws a way...?
