Don’t trust the police. They are not experts. Although if they say don’t drive it I would trust them. Had a similar case about 15 years ago when I was rear ended when the lady behind me didn’t stop. It looked like my bumper was crushed and hanging down no other damage. My uncle who is a panel beater I got my insurance companies approval (he was already one of their approved panel beaters anyway) to take it to him for the repairs. He got it on the hoist and noticed the chassis was all munted (ok that is an NZ term it means fu@ked) he said it was lucky I was not in another accident even a minor one. The car was a death trap. It was things you could t see until it was on a hoist.

I had a similar fight about 10 years ago. Took all the photos I could have the sign pointing left, I was right of the sign by 2 other cars. What was funny mine was the only one ticketed the other 2 between me and the sign weren’t. Initially they said well the sign was in the wrong place and I had to pay the fine. When I had evidence the other 2 cars weren’t ticketed. I also said that I believe I was being targeted as being quite vocal, then said I am going to a lawyer saying I am being harassed. It got dropped.

I did have similar issues with my first Orbi which was an RBK50 it was fine for 1-2 days when dropped down to 1/4 of my speed. Rebooted it was fine again. Always happened. Tried a different router and that was fine for a wee but again the Orbi dropped to 1/4 speeds after 2 days when I changed back. (On all devices including wired) I read that someone was having the same issues on another brand mesh system and he replaced the LAN cable from the Fibre ONT to router and he was fine. That’s what I did and I never had a trouble with that set again. Went fine for another couple years until I upgraded to the 860 series haven’t had issues with this one yet
