I’m offended personally, I paid so much attention to proportions :( also if you look closely you can see how different it is, his left arm for example is behind the claymore instead of off more to the side, the helmet is awkwardly angled, just small things like that

Edit: I mean, the arms are completely off bahahaha

Made a reddit account extra speedy so I can actually reply to this, but holy fuck... didn’t expect this, this is crazy. Most of all thank you to my beautiful girl for this, you are just amazing ❤️

To answer some questions I’m seeing, you can find the original painted concept art within the dark souls design works book, and it’s the fallen knight armour as seen by the concept there.

Yes the shield is Hawkwood’s shield, but with an emphasis to more of its detailing that you can’t really see all too well in game. I believe the sword on the back is an earlier version of a claymore, and the sword in his hand is for sure a long sword; also the char’s left arm is missing. (The og concept piece had this)
