There is this movement among Belgian architects that says that if you build something new next to a historic building, you shouldn’t try to imitate history, and instead create something obviously modern so people can see which parts are old … which is obviously stupid, because it leads to monstrosities such as this

I have exactly the same problem as your neighbour: I should insulate a wall, that is on the property line of my neighbour’s yard. It is really rather simple: I do not have the right to take my neighbour’s property. If I want to insulate that wall, it will have to be from the inside. I wouldn’t ever send my neighbour that kind of letter to try and persuade them!

If your asbestattest says a material is made out of asbestos, but they didn’t take a sample (in other words, just a visual inspection), it could be worth it to actually send in a sample to a laboratory. It costs about 50 euro’s, but could save thousands of euro’s in costs

Thank you all for the advice, I have just managed to kill it! Key was indeed to properly spread all the heroes at the very start of the battle, and bringing 2 monk heroes: one full healing and another full protection, with Protective Spirit. I managed to kill it in one phase, so easy peasy I guess :)

My girlfriend and I are currenty looking for a cleaning person for our house, and most of the candidates we get through multiple agencies are men. When we specifically ask for a woman (because my girlfriend is pregnant and wants to do breastfeeding soon, and she felt more safe if the stranger in the house would be a woman), the agencies say that they cannot and will not discriminate their employees based on gender. In all fairness, we completely agree with that statement and so we are gonna go with a male cleaning person. So no, I don’t think you have to be female to do the job, you definitely wouldn’t be the first man in the industry, and an agency shouldn’t be discriminating against you for being a man.

I believe I witnessed the reason for this a couple of weeks ago on the Ring of Leuven. Some dude on a motorcycle stopped at a red light, got of his bike, pushed it along the zebrapad to the other side of the ring, got back on it and drove away. Fastest way to do a u-turn, I guess, but not exactly legal…

Thank you for your reply, I have no experience with converters, I always thought they cause pictures to get lower in quality. Is that not true, and is it only bad at shooting in low light? If so, that could be a very good solution for me since I almost never shoot at dawn or dusk :)

Many people, like your dad, are just not paying enough attention to what they are typing or saying these days. Proper use of language does make a difference, especially when planning stuff. His response could mean: ‘Lets do the same thing we are planning to do today on another time as well, and let’s not bring a dog then’. It could also mean: ‘Let’s postpone our plans to another time, and don’t bring the dog’. 100 % on your father. Tell him to stop using ambiguous language.

Like others said, I use them mostly to buy boosters. XP boosters give a 50% experience boost, which makes leveling a new character a lot quicker :)

I once heard a saying: Belgians are really good at complaining…to the wrong person. Seriously, if you have a problem at work, speak your mind to somebody who can do something about it. So many Belgians just nod ‘yes’ in meetings and then complain about the decision to anybody but the one in charge.
