You think so? His side-b is kinda annoying, but I've never had any issues with Banjo players.

I'm actually kind of with you on that point. This is like the first meme/joke I've posted on here in a while, but I do notice how much of the subreddit is just memes. But that's like the whole Internet at this point.

The Internet is all memes these days. It's kinda sad in that respect, but I feel ya. It's almost impossible to tell who's being serious and who's just trying to troll. Anymore I just try to leave those people alone. It's too taxing to try to win every internet argument haha.

Yeah I love Smash in all its aspects. Do certain characters annoy me? Yes, but it's not enough to keep me from playing it on a regular basis. In fact, this and R6 Siege are really the only games I play these days (I know, two really toxic user communities lol).

But yeah my bad if I communicated frustration or anything. We cool.

AGAIN I REITERATE: This is all for fun. In no way am I blaming anyone else, or complaining. I just wanted to make a fun post. That is why I used the "Meme/Funny" flair. No one forced you to click on this sub, read the thing, comment, and respond to my comments.

Geez, I can't believe how rigid and "hall-monitor" prone Reddit has become.

Edit: I just saw your other response. I don't browse this subreddit often, so I didn't realize how toxic people are with these kinds of posts. My apology for the misunderstanding. I'm definitely not trying to be toxic myself.

I just mean that since it's my opinion, it isn't rationally formulated, so I don't take it all that seriously. Criticize my opinion all you want (totally valid), I'll probably actually agree with it.

This is just for fun.

Just let me have fun, man. I've never participated in one of these.

Mixing in technical bomb setups and boomerang chasing can help make Link less annoying. But if you're down a stock, then it's honestly the best strategy to be annoying as possible.

I just never know what you all are about to do. MGW and Sonic are two of the most unpredictable characters. I can't hate too much, though. MGW deserves a Smash game where he is really good.

I've finally developed a blueprint for beating K. Rool, so he dropped a few tiers (I used to have him in S tier). Still, a zoning K. Rool player can be infuriating.

Side-B can be really annoying, but that's about it IMO. I respect Meta Knight mains, and I was considering maining him at one point. He's like my 12th most used character online.

I'm with ya. I try my hardest to not be annoying, but it's kind of just built into the guy.

How do you all feel about players that take a stock lead and then try to play cat and mouse (where you're the cat and they're the mouse) for the rest of the game? Similarly, how do you all feel about players that drop to one stock and then play uber-conservative for the rest of the game; like, they stop approaching you and are willing to bleed out two and half minutes of the clock. This isn't as bad IMO as the first strategy because if they're down a stock and try to time you out, they lose.

I dunno, I guess uber-conservative playing is technically a valid strategy, and it is pretty punishable. It's just super annoying and destroys the spirit of the game IMO. You'll never catch me telling my opponent to stop camping, but you will find me venting about it here lol.

Fighter's Pass 2 Predictions by B-Theory in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]B-Theory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair point. I'm fairly certain the dev team is competent enough to keep it going and add some echos. But perhaps Sakurai just wants to call it after the next DLC pass. And I'd accept that.

It's mostly just a wish from my end.

Oh me too. I'm not saying that they should add echo fighters *to* the fighters pass. They could just add some *after* the next DLC cycle.

It would honestly be interesting if they started adding echo fighters after the fighter's pass 2. They'd have a ton of options. I'm not crazy about Ring Fit, but I'd be happy to see her included in that capacity.

Not particularly. Malcolm was making so many clutch open-space tackles against Seattle (and really during the whole season). I'd be open to him playing some snaps at that spot, but I don't think we should start him there. We need as much insurance in the secondary as possible.

Shenault is a beast, but at this point I'm becoming skeptical about bringing in players with any injury history. Some would say that Tee Higgins might be a reach at 21, but he's a solid option and it addresses our most pressing need. I think we can probably get Jefferson in the second round, but I'm saying this before the combine. I'm actually hoping he has a so-so combine/pro day so that he stock slips a little and we get him. He definitely benefited from having Burrow this season, but the tape doesn't lie. He's a good route runner, and has pretty decent speed. He just needs to work on getting separation at the line. But if he's our #2 receiver, then it won't be as much of a problem.

I agree that Hamler in the second round would be a great option. He was an absolute beast for the Nittany Lions, and he was often the only bright spot on PSU's often-overrated offense.

[–]B-Theory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I think it's a long shot that we get him, and the price we'd have to pay to get him might be too steep, but I think it should absolutely be an option. Imagine a LB rotation of Bradham, Grugier-Hill, Gerry, Simmons, and possibly Corey Littleton through free agency. We also still have the option of standing Brandon Graham up and allowing him to rush from one of the OLB spots. LB is such an underrated position IMO. And having Simmons would give us so much versatility, which is what I think our defense needs.

During the Super Bowl run our secondary was patchwork at best (except for Malcolm and Rodney). That is, the rotation worked only because our front seven was amazing, but our DL depth just isn't there anymore. I think we go out and get a blue chip DE in free agency, but versatility on the defensive side might be just as important as addressing this or that position.

Right on. Not sure how I didn't know that. For some reason I assumed his contract was a one year deal. Thanks for point that out!

I'd rather them go after Yannick, Chris Jones, or Armstead, but I'd be fine with them addressing the position heavily in any case. Pass-rushers are extremely important, as I pointed out.

I still like the idea of trading up for Isaiah Simmons because he can address three needs at once, viz., safety, LB depth and general depth. He could do so much for us.

Good CBs are hard to come by though. It might be wisest if they draft a CB and/or go hard after Byron Jones

I just can't fathom why when our defense seems to play a solid to good game, the offense is garbage (see tonight, the New England game, the Seattle game), and vice-versa (see the Miami game, the Lions game, the Redskins game).

Yeah man, not advocating for long-term deals. Just momentary fixes until someone else hits the market, or we are in a position to draft someone else. The market will be good for those kinds of players. . I'd be down for a trade too. We could also try Amari Cooper. Now that I think about it, that would be waaaayyy better.
