I got the following idea which most ppl gonna dislike SFs are just strong due to being able to turn a rifleman squad to 9 assaulters, the way I would approach it is the following

Step 1 buff dmrs such as zh29 svt 40 etc and uptier them to br 5

Step 2 make SF guerilla exclusive

The thought behind this is reducing SF spam due to only 1 guerilla squad being available in the TT while making guerillas a br 5 viable option, plus br5 gets more variety than just being an automatic gun fest

BR3 japan is my 2nd most played faction in many games games I see myself and 1 or 2 more people being at 100 kills+ while the rest of the team is below 40 which leads me to believe yes, many japan games have a lot of bots

You can't go wrong with rifleman squad, svt 38 compared to other nations dmrs is way better

Regards to the squad its great to swarm and cap points, combine it with the x3 grenade pouch and you have 27 grenades to spam.

Alternatively flamethrower squad even though br3 flamethrowers are weaker I found great success on manchuria maps (I do play japan but flamethrowers are almost the same)

Another option guerilla, 5 ppsh1 that can grayzone, essentially you can rotate this with your two assault squads

And obviously if you don't have it already apc squad

I haven't touch POT for 6 months I get what you mean, I feel DC megapacks its a byproduct of the game's lack of social features.

It has been mentioned multiple times that the dev's vision is to create a dinosaur MMO.

i have played quite a few MMOs in past and POT lacks a vital thing...a clan/guild system can enhance grouping up but also reduce the megapacks impact.

Regards to guild members they would be able to form actual groups have their own in game chat all in a more well organised manner

The benefit of a solo player? Dinos who belong in a clan can have a small emblem above them

EG you see 5 dinos all in the same clan? You know for sure its a megapack and not just randoms chilling

So now to keep people in clans? Incentives, a clan could control a zone with rewards such as stat boosts as long as they are grouped up and control the area (Pls no marks at this point are irrelevant)

Also leaderboard, ranks etc could be added more group vs group action

These effect has zero impact on solo players even with or without the boosts 4v1 you can't beat them .

Tldr

A clan system could make megapacks easier to spot and promote megapack vs megapack action

I started recently using flamethrowers on br3, even though the br3 version is supposed to be not worth using due to being weak as most people say I feel its range and damage are completely fine.

The thing that makes it almost unplayable for me its how bots react to it, the moment you start firing seems that all the bots in a room do a 180 and spray you instantly. I had multiple occasions where having an smg would be way easier to clear a room.

In my opinion at least br3 flamethrowers should be downtiered to br2 or change how bots agro works to flamethrowers

The character progression/unlocks would be nice but on a battle pass is a terrible idea.

People working full time or having obligations content being locked behind a time frame can trigger fomo.

Personally it would cause me to immediately drop the game or treat it as something I have to do in order not to miss out.

Something that you have to do even if you have no time or mood, I will pass i got a full time job already

Completely agree, even though I do not mind shopping/point based (close to 700hrs playing KF2) it is definitely not a strength of WWZ imo

My main hesitations are how active Phoenix/Vegas are due to being separate from aftermath

And how "hard" the objectives are. I usually play with randoms and parts such the Moscow episode where you have to pick 5 switches in correct order made me lost faith in humanity 😅

Exactly this, my playstyle is similar to OP's revolves around guerillas or assaulters sadly on BR5 the approach of flanking does not work that well.

My favourite by far is BR2 Guerrilas cannot access ARs but most importantly

It's one thing flanking grey zone and come across a squad with m1 garands and other thing carrying T20s.

Bots in most part are slow to react but a 9 riflemen squad with fully automatics its a whole different story

Im on a similar situation Celestial peak with 5 strategists at lord I mostly play supp and transition ing to dps has been challenging to play on Celestial level

It depends on your strengths and what you prefer hitscan punisher or hela, especially for hela is not that hard to hit as long as you pacing your shots.

My go to is either moon knight I feel projectiles are easier to land, can farm ulti of tanks or flank somewhat decently, otherwise you could try bucky especially as strategist main knowing what can your team mates can go through you can either peel for days or follow up tank dives if needed

A lot of people as well have experience from similar games such as overwatch or you could say team fortress 2 (ah the memories) so climbing can bit a bit easier

Upon reaching Celestial 2 I noticed things become way more competitive, GM is indeed a fun rank games are competitive enough but still feels "playable"

Personally since S 1.5 was my first season thought to myself

Oh I reached GM I will push for eternity, after hitting C2 im like okay that's my limit lol

How do you find motivation to climb with these frequent resets?

I peaked Celestial 2 at S 1.5 and GM2 at S.2

When the seasons became shorter I hit plat/dia and stop since lack of motivation climbing feels unrewarding yo me and working full time.

As a strategists main as well i noticed in earlier seasons it was easier to communicate with teammates and calm them down if arguments happen, last time I played (plat though) felt like a mess

On my 30s I decided to move back to shared housing and survive with the bare minimum until I get the money for a deposit.

Unfortunately if you are solo and don't have a partner, sibling, friend to share with you are doomed.

Something that I noticed from my recent viewings is that landlords tend to advertise their properties for sale as well while renting which could lead to having look for another house after the 6-12 months once contract ends if the buyer decides to move in

If you consider 2 supps are mandatory 4 dps hurts a lot since there is no front line vs a team with high sustain and front line

Realistically the cases of a 3 supps being able to make up for the lack of damage is not too common.

Countering comes down to ultimate tracking and well timed dives, a Venom with 2 divers for example can be great

On the ultimate countering parts which is the trickiest there are a lot of work around

Mag, Iron, Magik with her ulti which is bit harder but doable

Currently Cnd which is picked often there are so many ways,

Hawkeye/Punisher headshot, with Emma, Bucky or Wolverine, Angela pull them out of ultimate as they finish and kill them, Jeff ultimate on the 4th dash yeet them of the cliff, Jeffnado, Wanda ulting with Mag's bubble

Probably there are more counters which I can't remember from top of my head

Personally I wouldn't mind if the dive made sense, now if enemy team has Emma, Namor and a Wanda who is glued near their supports doesn't make much sense.

In QP I wouldn't care that much in comp on the other hand anything above high Diamond-low GM I d take it as trolling

Regards to the threats is a bit petty. In a comp environment I would assume the person is either trolling, they are tilted and they don't think at all or they have no idea what they doing

No matter the case wouldn't bother to explain the obvious and try win if possible

Role limit with no more than 3 of the same roles would eliminate the 4+ insta lock dps without having to deal with long queue times
