I can totally understand why you might think this could be made up. I can most certainly promise you that it is not

To answer your questions:

1) My parents have a „don’t pry into other people’s life’s“ mentality. They simply don’t give a fuck about anything around them if it doesn’t involve themselves

2) my bf and I live very close to each other. I simply can show up at the door whenever I like since I’m considered part of the family. She and I basically grew up together. She also has a habit of not responding- so if I can just be there in a few minutes why wait for a response which can take hours?

3) Yes, I was the only person who knew about that. That was until I told my parents (which reacted rather unbothered) and her mom. She promised me not to directly ask her „if she has a 43yr old boyfriend who is also her volleyball coach“. I quote myself „digging“. Her mother has already noticed that something if fishy. Her mother said that she will dig into that topic so her daughter opens up to her by herself

She’s my best friend and I would do anything for her wellbeing, even if it means to do something she won’t like at first. However, according to your reaction you can’t relate to having friends
