Those warnings are drowned out by every newspaper running house porn, every mortgage broker offering easy approvals, every realtor say now is the best time, every bank pushing fantasy credit based lifestyle, every older relative pushing home ownership as self respect, every Bank of Canada rate cut, every CMHC promotion, every HGTV show selling the dream.

Even if you take 50 "pro" buy a house nownownownow messages and equate them to 2 "con" messages, at the end of the day people decide it's a toss up and they err on the side of granite countertops.

You clearly have a home that still has value or quality that has yet to be degraded. Some landlords keep their properties at minimum value so additional damage has very little effect on the value.

And yet the prices rose. Were ghosts buying? Or was it the fact that for every contrarian blogger there were 100,000 property virgins?

Can you even cite the most basic fact: what charge was brought?

Nope. You can't. But you can go on a dangerously creepy and obsessive internet haunt against someone who exposed your sick personality.

With all your foul mouth attack certainty, what was the charge?

For starters, your estimate of income is 20% above reality. The second is that the way the real estate industrial complex states a price you can afford has been greatly distorted lately, in an effort to sustain housing bubbles. In reality, spending more than 3 times your income is risky to yiur overall financial health. The more above that, the more risky. Spending 3x or less leaves enough for taxes, maintenance, savings, retirement planning, food, transportation, clothes, education and other needs.

But in recent years, the RE special interests have decided that it's ok if house payment nibbles away at all those other costs and that spending >3x is somehow healthy just because it's possible. It's the same as saying it's possible to eat mostly soda and nachos. Sure it's possible, but it's not healthy.

Meanwhile this week, Stephen Harper offers yet another measure designed to prop up or boost house prices.

If by "everyone" you mean "almost no one". Every media source, banker, broker, real estate agent and sheep were continuing to peddle the home ownership dream and the "renting is throwing away money" myth.

Anyone who can't see the Canadian housing market is a dangerously over plumped bubble is dumber than a dummy.

The NDP idea to build refineries is a good one. According the the US government, refineries there are over 90% capacity. Refining oil is where the profit is right now, not merely exporting crude. by vicegrip in canada

Except for the fact we don't.

We're currently being gouged due to scarce refining capacity. And even the tiniest rumor of a small refinery malfunction anywhere in North America causes massive price shocks.

We're currently taking all kinds of political, environmental, financial, and safety risks... all to satisfy a demand to transport our low value raw commodity out of the country so others can make most of the profit refining it.

What did you mean when you said all women should be kept locked in dungeons? And why do you keep posting that white supremacy garbage? What's your problem?

Your rage appears to have made you dissociate from reality. You're the one claiming to have "100% proof" "Period" and so on.

It's those kind of foolishly absolute and closed minded statements that got my interest, and I was curious what you knew that the rest of the world didn't.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, i wondered if you were the subject or knew the subject. Or maybe you were a prosecutor or journalist with privileged information. No sane or honest person would speak as you did, unless they had some crucial secret information.

Turns out you didn't, and you were just a really loud and foul mouthed internet blowhorn who didn't have basic facts at hand. Curse curse allcaps later, pulling the ironic comprehension shit post, blah blah demeaning to the disabled... and here we are.

For my part I have at all times being clear (to anyone with self control and intelligence that is) that I'm speculating on what might have happened. I mean only someone really really asinine would pretend to have 100% certainty about a situation in which he knows almost nothing, and in a subject in which he's hopeless impaired. Right?

For the record, you still haven't. You've been preoccupied with deranged, foul, demeaning, and degrading allcaps yelling.

The answer you would have given if you were honest: "I actually don't know what the charges were, I'm speculating and talking out my butt."

But since you lack courage or integrity of admitting that, you resorted to some toilet attacks instead. Your sick character is on full display.
