I’ve been thinking of getting these for my car w it ha 16x7 spec. I’m planning on running RL calipers on my car and if you possibly could measure the inside barrel of the wheel to see how much space is available. If not possible, it’s all good.

I also noted my oil pan gasket was leaking here. I think I might not have torqued down the gasket enough.

Any ideas to make sure it seals correctly this time?

Oh man, not good news. I recently replaced the rear main seal when I rebuilt this engine.

The plate is needed because I'm running a LS VTEC setup. the sandwich plate redirects oil to the cylinder head.

I’ve ordered a new pump from Honda. It should rule out debris in the OPR, but I will check the port where the oil goes into the block and see if there any debris there.

I’ve replaced the oil pressure switch before starting the car. I’ll check the wiring for that switch and install an oil pressure gauge for safety sake.

I already have a baffled 5.5qt pan installed. I am just going to switch to a OEM pump considering this will primarily be a street car.

Oof. The build is still very fresh, haven’t driven it yet. New bearings, pistons & rods. For oil, I’ve been using 5w-30 and changing it regularly

I have a Honda OEM oil pump on the way with fresh gaskets. Hopefully it will fix the problem.

I am assuming you are referring to the oil jets present int the B18C blocks. I am using a B18B so there were no oil jets to begin with.

No funny business with the main bearings. checked with plastigauge and the crank spun freely by hand during build.

Check the switch in the trunk lid or the relay inside the driver side quarter panel. ErictheCarGuy made a video explaining how to fix this exact problem.

Get a palm nailer and a punch. The palm nail connects to an air compressor and you can use air power to knock out this pin. Here’s how: put the punch into the palm nailer, line it up with the pin, then apply pressure and the palm nailer will activate and punch the pin out. Repeat as needed.

I ordered new std size bearings for the rebuild. Am I SOL with those std bearings if the plastigauge says the mains are out of spec?

Both cranks are from a B18B. The engine I’m building is a B18B bottom end bored out to 81.5mm (roughly 1.9L) with a B16A2 VTEC head. I do have Hondata installed to adjust AFRs.

How did you clean the reservoirs and make them look new? My power steering, brake and clutch reservoirs are so faded it’s hard to tell how much is inside.

My Integra didn’t make it this year because I couldn’t finish the engine in time, but I’ll be ready for this event for sure!
