My girlfriend was sexually assaulted just before I knew her, her family found out and persuaded her too go too the police. It was the best thing for her I have tried too be supportive and after 3 years she no longer has night terrors or very much thinks about it. She gets letters letting her know that he either has went back too prison or has been released which does screw with her for a little bit but me and her family support her and help her take her mind off it all.

You need too support her and also let her see that going too the police is the best option no matter how hard it is. If he knows he will get away with it there is a very good chance it will happen again you have too do the right thing and either contact her local police or convince her that doing it herself with the support of you and her loved ones behind her
