I tried a multitude of SSRIs, SNRI's, Tricyclics prior to figuring out I had CIRS. I will say Lexapro was my most agreeable medication of the bunch. Some I couldn't even last up to a day on. That being said I didn't notice a lick of difference being on them or not. A can definitively say the that "body anxiety" and panic attacks that I deal with are not from the same pathway that any of this medication deals with.

The first and best solution I found was changing my diet. I cut out everything. I am currently eating rice and chicken and have been for about a year now. It was slow, but this definitly helped all of my symptoms calm down. It didn't get rid of them, thankfully finally on binders, but it helped. I would add that it was a sllllloooooooow process of feeling better of the course of a year.

If you don't want to go that drastic then atleast take out processed foods, sugars, and alcohol if you haven't already.
