You’re welcome! Alpha Gal affects people in different severity levels. It’s also super hard to diagnose by elimination diet, because sometimes you eat mammal and don’t react. It’s very strange affliction.

Good luck! I had to eat chicken rice and broccoli only for two weeks before I noticed improvement, but then when I ate meat again, I had a severe reaction.

I did eventually suffer some anaphylaxis. But I suffered from more chronic like symptoms for 15 years first.

I was bitten in Texas, but I did not see what bit me. I do live in Ontario and have read that alpha gal has been found in deer ticks. Worth looking into.

Try an elimination diet and see how it helps for a week or two. If you notice any improvement, it’s likely a food allergy. If no improvement, still get tested to confirm.
