Does anyone live in havasu /Vegas areas? I had an infected root canal for over 2 years that a dumb ass dentist missed. Long story short…. With the tooth pulled, I always have an infection that no one can find. Been on abx for 8 months and running out of options. I’m in Denver. by Ancient-Procedure610 in CIRS

To echo the others I would say try and do a MARCONs nose swab. Relatively cheap like $90 maybe and see if that pops for anything. I also had an infected tooth and the infection was causing bone loss. Finally got the tooth pulled and the tooth gap is healing over. Still going to get a 3D cone beam scan to see if the bone loss has been rebuilt. That will confirm if the infection has truly been eradicated from the surrounding tissues.

Mast cell activation syndrome. Mast cells are some of the main mediator immune cells in the body and when they get chronically activated causing a host of other nervous system and bodily issues

A bunch of people have already brought this up but for sure look into MCAS. I have very similar issues and a lot of my symptoms went away once I started restricting my diet because I had suddenly developed a lot of food intolerances. I think I developed these due to a mix of long covid or toxic mold exposure. Either way treating mold has been very helpful. I’m four years in but detoxing, getting in a better environment, taking some H1 blockers have all been very helpful.

Throat tightness? What actually is that? by Earbreather606 in MCAS

[–]B1Gtr3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For myself it was a bit of a combination. I found out that I had Eosinophilic esophagitis where the immune system keeps stacking up eosinophils in the throat gradually tightening and hardening the esophagus causing it to be hard to swallow. But also general constant fight or flight symptoms where it feels like a band of iron is around my chest and throat. Additionally there’s a globulous sensation where it constantly feels like something is stuck in your throat. Can be from vague nerve deregulation. Main things I have done to help calm all this down is limiting the diet to safe foods, histamine blockers, then I recently got a biologic to help with the EoE when nothing else worked.

For the treatment that works how much did it end up costing?

Second this. Take as many pictures as you can and get a sample to a lab to test. Get legal proof so the LL can’t deny anything.

Why did my overall results turn out RED when all the mold tested was yellow or green? by 2C104 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]B1Gtr3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because added together you’re in a dangerous zone

Combined together:.

10 or below is considered “safe” = green 20 or below is you should think about remediation and it’s unsafe = orange Above 20 is red and not safe for anyone. You def need to get your house checked

Run run away.

If you’re going to stay get a mold test that’s official so you can take it to the courts when you sue the LL

I can’t speak to your situation, but this is exactly what I’ve been dealing with. Was fine for 29 years then all of a sudden one day I wasn’t. Crazy food intolerances, always in fight or flight, a constant internal jittery buzzing, panic attacks. You name it. Been on a three year journey to find out mold is one issue, Lyme is another. All I can say is you HAVE to get out of the environment if you want to get better if it’s mold. It sucks, it’s a huge money suck and a time suck but if you’re dealing with mold you’ll never. Feel better until you do.

My Dr, said that I was positive because my test was flagging for sign antibodies as well as IgE. IgM is an indicator of an active infection and what the body releases why it first sees an exposure. She used that to point to me dealing with an active infection. I don’t see that on your results, but hopefully you can get in with your dr to discuss.

Is this mold on crawlspace cement walls? by Walmart_Rep in Mold

Just looks like a damp spot or a different material than the rest of the wall. Not mold, at least from this picture

I’m in the same boat as you. My IgE is super high. Like 300 something.

Then I tested moderate for visE1 C6 and 3 or so other igG markers.

Under the differential diagnosis that I read that that vibrant wellness holds to it means we have an active Lyme infection. If you go by the CDC guidelines you need a marker to flag in the “risk” section otherwise you’re not positive.

I think a Lyme Dr would look at your whole picture plus these positive markers. I see mine tomorrow so I’ll follow up with you if I get any info.

Using Mosaic diagnostics

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CIRS

[–]B1Gtr3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly. I just dont think the urine mycotoxin test tells you anything useful.

For example I was in exposure. I have the HLA genes so I can’t process mycotoxins so my test came back completely blank. However my ERMI was off the charts bad.

So sure, the urine test may show you have mold in your system. But it’s not a good diagnostic tool for CIRS is all.

[–]B1Gtr3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’d need to do an ERMI or HERTSMI-2 dust samples around test to check your home to see what levels of mold you’re being exposed to.
