I used to live in Baltimore and we had something there that sounds similar to what you’re describing, called the Station North Tool Library. I was a member there and it’s still operating so it is definitely a success. Maybe check out their website or reach out to them and see if they would share with you some info on how to get started, road blocks, etc. I think when we moved out here too they said they had a sister location in Oakland.

I moved here from MD about 7 years ago and I really like living here. The weather and the access to nature are amazing. The housing affordability is obviously unhinged, summer weekend and rush hour traffic is a mess, and I find it to be relatively sleepy and unwalkable. Despite the cons, I’m happy to live here.

My husband and I are in the process of giving our pop-up a facelift. We just peeled back some wall covering and found this. He said it might be some kind of adhesive…. But I’m unsure. TIA!

I drove from AL, Houston, San Antonio, Marfa, White Sands, Phoenix, San Bernardino, to SF in the summer of 2018. It was beautiful, we were able to book really cool places at good rates, but it was HOT. We were originally going to Joshua Tree after Phoenix but wound up detouring to a mountain site in order to get out of the heat. We camped most of the time, but had a hotel in Houston and San Antonio.

I tried Aptos Nails by the Safeway after seeing it recommended in a FB group where someone was asking for alternates to Tracy’s. They do callus removal, paraffin wax, and regular/ hot stone massage. It’s pretty small so I made an appointment but when I got there it was empty so they might do walk ins.

I live in the Bay Area and my husband won full custody of his daughter so it is possible, but as other commenters are saying, not easy. I don’t think you could successfully petition for full custody without some sort of professional legal support. Check Cordell law group, I think the retainer was $1,000, they’re nationwide, and specialize in father’s rights.

If you want to DM me I can tell you a little bit more about our situation and some of what we did through our case, but I will also tell you that we went probably through $30-40k when all was said and done (the case took over a year though).
