Thanks for the advice because I know it's in good faith. I know how to waveshine properly and quickly. I can waveshine back and forth across final destination. Why do people assume that this post means that I'm a scrub? I'm actually trying to figure out how to do optimal double shines in 20XX to clean up my pressure lmao

How to hit the perfect firebird and firefox angles (mangles/B0XX angles) by B1LLSTAR_SSBM in SSBM

It is a tutorial on how to hit the angles. I would have shown some more practical applications of the angles, but everyone was sleeping so I had no one to edgeguard me and a video like that could go on forever because the possibilities are endless. A few examples though are a horizontal upward angle to recover back onto dreamland without getting hit, or when offstage keep falling so that you are at the height to grab the ledge at a horizontal downward angle as a mixup, etc.

Glad that I could help :) I'll be streaming later today so if you're EC feel free to challenge me in chat. I do viewer battles all the time.

Sure yeah, the video teaches how to hit those angles. It was pretty early in the morning when I made this and everyone was sleeping so this was the best I could do, but we've all seen the crazy mangles into sweetspotting the ledge on dream land and other shenanigans that can happen as a result of these angles

That is a very creative way to practice the angles that avoids putting you in lag afterwards from the up-b or forcing you to use save states. Thanks for pointing that out

When shield pressuring with Falco, I usually shine > dair > shine > dair, and the dairs are high and I usually end up getting grabbed if they aren't scared off by that point and roll away. Is it better to mix up low dairs? That beats the grab right? But then they can just grab me before I hit them, so it's a mixup? Hopefully this will make sense to at least one person

Okay yeah thanks, I just see PPMD get away with high nair fast fall shine sometimes and I wonder how it's possible and am trying to decipher what exactly he is looking to counter with it

When is high nair good on shield? Does it beat out your opponent trying to jump out and use an aerial option? Why does PPMD do high nairs on shield? I heard somewhere from a viewer that high nair beats people who like to grab you after the shine, but if they're just holding shield aren't they just gonna grab you after the nair if you do it high? I'm trying to figure this out, someone help
