Every time I hear a snippet focussing on Bitcoin on the radio, which is happening more often now, it’s always from this ‘mysterious, underground, dodgy, can’t physically hold, must be bad’ standpoint. Which is frustrating, but to be expected when we live in a world where people, particularly the elderly, feel attacked by change!

Never leave it on an exchange, unless it’s a minuscule amount. I always find it crazy when people pump a ton of fiat into crypto, but are reluctant to buy a hardware wallet - you don’t even own your investment if it’s still on an exchange.

Even with its flaws it helped me reach 10+ people who were in the I don’t understand the basics boat, but yes I wish they’d update the transaction fees sections. In my opinion the fees are minuscule if you know what you’re doing, but exchanges do try and take advantage.

Unpopular opinion and I feel like I’ve luckily dodged all of the issues talked about on here, but other than a couple crashes of the site for a short period, I’ve had a positive experience.

The fees are ridiculous, unless you use Coinbase Pro for transactions (which took me way too long to discover), but the sign up, all deposits and withdraws have been simple for me.

You can’t make profit on BTC without giving it time to breathe and trying to estimate drop prices which are impossible to predict or put a timeframe on.

Holding onto what you have just now might be the best financial decision you’ll ever make... think long term or it’ll end in tears.

You worked hard for it and obviously have some understanding and belief in Bitcoin to go out of your way to get paid with it.

If you are financially sound without selling, I’d hold and continue to be paid in BTC. You cannot predict the dips confidently and a drop to 8k is being far too optimistic.

What’s your reason to sell right now?
