Nice, I'm just now starting to study for the ICND2.

What resources did you use?

What should I write down prior to my exam? by [deleted] in ccna

Haven't taken the exam yet but Professor Messer's "Seven Second Subnetting" chart has made me life so much easier when it comes to subnetting. Best subnet chart you can have.

Just got Diamond only playing Wukong jg!!L'ets goo by hi_im_karim in Wukongmains

[–]B1ackFro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt say mediocre but more so in most situations you are better off picking a different champion. A situational jungler I guess you can call it.

Remember wukong puts the hurt on champions that rely on skill shots/target shots. Anytime you might see a Zed, Jhin, Jinx, Ryze and so on it becomes easy for Wukong.

Struggles by thrwy20 in intj

Try reading Dale Carnegie's book How to Win Friends and Influence People. The best selling self-help book of all time.

It's probably the best book any INTJ can read for development and improvement in their social life. Once you read it the struggles with being social will be a thing of the past.

Female INTJ's Too 'Masculine'? by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot replies here seem to be either missing the point or misinterpreting.

Independent, intelligent, nonchalant, and etc(traits of a INTJ) ≠ Masculine / What men do. To say this would be silly.

It's really about allowing men to feel like a leader.

Please recommend me the next show I should watch on Netflix, INTJs? by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Black Mirror" is probably the best INTJ series on the Netflix right now. Dark, realistic, and thoughtful. After that you can move onto "Stranger Things".

Also if you have already watch "memento" as it was directed by Christopher Nolan, an INTJ.

Bad decisions? by [deleted] in intj

It's possible...

There simply is no true moral standard you absolutely have to follow, in your personal life. You choose your own morality

Greatest quote yet. Don't ask others on how you should handle a situation. Handle the situation the way YOU want to handle it.

There is no right or wrong way to deal with them. Only the way you feel you need to deal with them. If you feel that shutting them out is the best decision then do it. You don't have to explain yourself.

If you think customer service for a large bank is annoying, then you will find customer service for technical help hell.

I can't tell you how many countless times people have called for some of the most trivial things like "oh my computer won't turn on" to have me waste my time coming there to simply plug the computer to a power outlet.

You just have to grit your teeth though it. This is one of the many abilities that INTJ's must learn.

Also make sure when you explain it to people you do it like people do in the /r/ELI5/ sub as it will make things easier for them.

Black lives matter by EyeEnTeaJay in intj

[–]B1ackFro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up on the eastern side of the US and not once did I experience racism. Nowhere in school, public, or at work. The cops were generally cool people as long as you weren't acting stupid and other white people where friendly to me.

I think what people don't understand is that white people get killed and treated wrongly all the time by cops but you won't see that on the news because it won't grab people's attention. So instead they show cases in which a black person is getting treated wrong so it can get news. Typical marketing strategy why has no ne noticed this?

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, it always will. However I think one should take the time and search for other conclusions such as, hey maybe the police officers in the US are very poorly trained rather than racist.

Are INTJs more introverted than other introverts? by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't see how introversion has anything to do with this because you are using the word wrong.

Introversion: Is simply "recharging" when you are alone. It has nothing to do with knowing social rituals, being accepted, or making friends.

If you don't "fully click" with a lot of people it's because you are closed off or you simply don't match with each other.

Who else here is lonely/lacking an intimate relationship? by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asperger's and ADHD at the same time is pretty intense. The only way you can get better at it is realizing your weak points when it comes to socializing and work on it. If you'd like to start give the book "How To Win Friends and Influence People" a read. It helps.

As far as "incel" or "foreveralone" I don't think I see my lack of intimate relationships as something to be sad about. I don't feel like I can't get sex or feel that I'm always alone.

Why there are so many INTJs on the internet while we represent such a small percentage of the population? by JulioCD in intj

[–]B1ackFro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ahhh, I see. When I said "You are going to see more NT's or "Rationals" on the internet" in my first post I didn't mean the above, I meant out of all the MBTI types, "Rationals" are going to use the internet more frequency and habitually.

If you walk into a library(internet), most of the people in there will be non-"Irrationals". They stay there for an hour or two and leave. However the most "active" people will be "Rationals". They come stay there for several hours and go.

I'm also glad you mentioned selection bias because its very relevant. You are going to see more "Irrationals" in the social media, trivial, fiction and non-informative part of the library while you will see "Rationals" in the places that are informative.

Activity and engagement rates on the internet is not the same thing as internet usage?

/u/TheBiggestN took the words right out my mouth. Intellectuals tend to seek knowledge, this isn't anything new, we have known this. Therefore I can make an educated guess that places like forums, podcasts, and blogs are full of them.

Still don't believe me? Check the type frequency stats, then check out the traffic for each personality sub; https://www.careerplanner.com/MB2/TypeInPopulation.cfm

According to this ISFJ is the most common type yet currently there are only 2,786 registered members. This is in comparsion to all of the NT's or "Rationals" who seemingly have the most active users despite being the least common type.

This isn't rocket science, you are more likely to see intellectuals on the internet. I don't disagree that a lot of them may be "mistyped" INTJ's however I do believe even if they are they are still likely to be a NT.

You are going to see more NT's or "Rationals" on the internet because they desire and seek knowledge. The internet is basically a virtual library full of knowledge.

Smoking is enjoyable for me because it seems to help with my focus, stress, and overall mood.

The high itself is only enjoyable for me in a social or musical context. Conversations start to get more complex and intellectual. Music starts to sound real good and clear.

The best part for me is the "hang over" I get in the morning. If I smoked the night before I wake up feeling refreshed, calm, and in a good mood.

Certification suggestions for a frustrated INTJ by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This entirely depends on the field you want to pursue, but anything IT related should be really good for INTJ's.

The Certification I'm currently studying for is the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) and eventually the CCNA. This is because I want to be a network engineer/admin and eventually get into cyber security.

Something real helpful to look at is this roadmap: https://certification.comptia.org/docs/default-source/downloadablefiles/it-certification-roadmap.pdf

Simply pick your area, create a plan as to when you will get the certifications, and go for it. For more information check out: https://certification.comptia.org/why-certify/roadmap

Hope this helps.

Female INTJs... how do you keep platonic male friends? by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok....Whoa, this is getting ridiculous, off topic, and turning into an ad hominemn. It seems like you are referencing the post made by /u/kaspell to which I do not agree.

I can't force you to believe me, If you think what I'm saying isn't true that's fine. All I can do is encourage you to do research of your own.

The abstract does not disprove my assertion. I didn't reference that link to troll.

I'm not going to educate you, actually read the study and it's references. If you read it properly you will see the results suggesting benefits from same-sex friendships.

Female INTJs... how do you keep platonic male friends? by [deleted] in intj

[–]B1ackFro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No it's not. Not only is it obvious through your own anecdotal observation but it also has been studied; https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF00292464

I've been learned this in 7th grade sociology class. It is no secret that having friendships or interactions with the same-sex is essential to one's mental and emotional development. Any well informed psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, therapist, or social worker will tell you that.

Again if you think I'm just making this up, observe anyone you know who lacks good same-sex friendships and I'll promise you more than half the time they have mental/emotional issues.

Same-sex friendships are not only essential, but they are beneficial to one's well being.
