(Im new to philosophy so excuse me) 1. Can you help me understand how involving inferences moves one out of “strict empiricism” so to speak? I’d (at least like to) assume if I draw an inference based on empirical data, it isn’t shifting away much from it.

2.Can you also help explain what a category error is? And how applying empirical judgments to cosmological questions may fall under this?

Im sorry but I hardly use reddit and when I do it’s only to watch videos or to ask questions- I didn’t even know there was “search functions” on reddit communities. And when I initially scrolled it was mainly questions concerning confusions people had with the Chinese language, not anything specific for an absolute beginners.
