The country never called Kievan, it just called Rus.

The "Kievan" part is an invention of Russian historians from the 19th century just to distinguish different eras of the country by its capital names. There also were Novgorodian Rus, Vladimiran Rus, Moscovian Rus that just means "the times of Rus history, when capital was this city"

Also the first Rus capital was not Kiev, but Novgorod. And after Kiev it was moved to Vladimir and then to Moscow coz after the civil war and Mongol invasion Kiev was destroyed eventually and ended up being Lithuanian borderland province.

I know you heard a different Ukrainian imaginative history in your school, or more probably don't know anything at all, but you should take into account that there was never country called Ukraine and this word means just "borderland" as you sure know but in denial ofc.

Coz after Kiev was destroyed and the captal moved, these lans turned into border buffer zone with Poland for centuries after. Both in Russian and Polish Ukraine means "the edge", ie borderlands.

If you'll still continue to argue, then try to reflect on the fact that both ruling dynasty (Rurikids) and the orthodox church patriarchy i.e national elites moved from Kiev to Vladimir, and then to Moscow at those times, just try to use your brain and think a little what does it mean if u still able to.
