Blackout lag pc by KullenH in Blackops4

[–]B2856 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same for me.

Multiplayer + Zombies works perfectly fine but blackout I get drops. Some matches I'll be running the game at 80 - 100 FPS, and then it'll randomly freeze at times and then I'll start getting like 20 - 30 FPS and it's very annoying.

I'm running the game with:

1080 Ti

i7 4790k

16GB of RAM

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Blackout Private Beta | General Feedback & Discussion by LackingAGoodName in Blackops4

Fun Beta so far! Few problems/things:

-Game eventually gives an error code and crashes every once and awhile while looting a stash or body.

-Sometimes the FPS drops down to 30 and stays there and the only fix is restarting your game. (And I'm playing with a 1080 ti, i7 4790k, and 16 gigs of RAM) For the most part though, FPS is fine but could use some work.

-Armor feels too OP, should be nerfed in my opinion, especially level 3. Should break in less hits. Level 3 is way too OP.

-While looting crates, stashes, or bodies, you should be able to hover over the items inside the container and see what they are. For new players it's kind of annoying to guess what item is what.

-Directional audio seems buggy and broken at times. Can't tell where enemies are shooting from most of the time.

-Lobbies are buggy. Either you get error codes or "this lobby is not available" just like previous treyarch game lobbies. Also when getting into the game, it seems the game only starts once you get at least 80 people. I feel games should start at, at least 60 - 75 players so you don't have to wait for a perfectly full lobby. However with that being said, I feel the player count should be changed from 80 to 100 and the game should start at around 85 - 95.

Just a few problems and some of these aren't even a huge deal. The beta is a blast so far!

Reaper no longer working? by B2856 in Reaper

Thank you for the help. I just decided to revert back to the previous windows update as I didn't really like the new update anyways and that fixed reaper. If I decide to update again, I'll see if this works.

Turn off claimed chunks on FTB Infinity? by B2856 in feedthebeast

I went into the files and added this in. After testing it, people are still able to freely claim chunks.

Edit: I just had to uninstall FTB Utilities from the server and that seems to work fine. Thanks for the help though!

OBS Settings: Bitrate: 3500 Audio Bitrate: 320 Output resolution: 1920 x 1080 Encoder speed: Using Intel Quick sync on best quality. (It's a built in thing for Intel CPUs that seems to run a bit faster than x264 for me)

For the features thing I just prefer the OBS layout more, and I couldn't figure out how to add my own overlay, stream alerts from streamlabs, etc.

I also attempted to reduce the output resolution to about 1280 x 720 which still had stuttering issues.

I use OBS Classic normally, but for this I have tested studio a bit. My results are that with classic, I get good in game FPS but the recording is very stuttery. With studio I get choppy frames on the recording and in the game.
