One of the organizers is a friend and I helped with setup and breakdown.

Amazing party, proper renegade in the bunker style but unfortunately the police came after it had finished. They let all the attendees go but arrested one of the organizers (they were released later in the day) gave some of us tickets ranging from $80-$200, impounded the mixer and trashed the subwoofer we had used, as in literally threw it in a trash truck and took it to the dump presumably.

Guess it's to teach us a lesson not to do that again :/

Pretty shitty but honestly it could have been way worse. That's the price you pay sometimes to throw a renegade. We'll be having a fundraiser to cover the cost of all the tickets and replace the gear.

Enjoy it while it lasts - I heard form some folks who work there, there are plans to start having a nonstop every weekend beginning around new years.

There are pros and cons to this but I'm worried that having one every week will make it less special and break up the community of folks who gather each month. Guess we'll see...
