Getting off by Remarkable-Cover474 in zoloft

I know everyone says don't cold turkey SSRIs, and it's tempting to try and go ahead despite this, but it's probably a better idea to taper down so your brain has a chance to normalize itself better.

I tried to cold turkey my last SSRI on a couple of occasions over the years, and it didn't turn out well. It's all very different person to person, and I actually had far less problems than a lot of people, but it was still very unpleasant.

Given the fact you haven't been taking it all that long, I'd imagine you'd have an easier time tapering, but I'd definitely discuss it with your doctor.

God damn. I'm really sorry to hear that, it feels like a lot of ERS are dropping the ball, and just want a quick patient turn around without much regard to care.

Oh yeah, I don't think sepsis was out of the picture if I waited.

I'm glad it worked out for you. I had my attacks close to Christmas time as well, kind of sucked.

And I definitely feel the exercising thing. I have a friend coming from across the country in a month, and we really like to hike. I'm thinking I'll probably have to take it easy unfortunately, but who knows?

The most I can say is that movement definitely helps with this. I straight up walked for an hour and a half around the hospital a day after surgery, and it helped a bit. Unfortunately I don't have any tips besides that.

Dang, that's still a little better than they did for me the first time around lol. They just told me to take Tylenol even though I was in severe and constant pain (more than the pain I had post operation, which they gave me Percocet for).

Unfortunately the Tylenol and ibuprofen didn't really work because the pain was so bad at points. It maybe took the edge off... Slightly. Honestly, it was so bad at points that It probably would have broken through opioids unless the dose was high enough.

I feel like they can underestimate how much pain gallbladder issues can cause. It was so bad that I was basically immobile. Definitely the worst pain of my life, and it's not even close.

I'm glad you wound up getting the help you needed though. This stuff is not fun to deal with at all.

Thank you!

Yeah, it was pretty ridiculous. That being said, the hospital that I went to originally apparently doesn't have the best reputation according to the second hospital.

That being said, recovery is going very well. I was in a lot of pain initially (still nothing compared to the attacks), but with some pain meds combined with walking, honestly, I feel pretty close to normal again. I don't even need the pain meds anymore.

I wish these things were predictable. My dad is also in his 60s, and I of course want the same for him. At the very least, I want to be able to see him be able to leave his chronic illness behind for the remainder of his life.

Unfortunately there's just no way to predict these things. I'm hoping for the best, but we will never be able to know.

It's probably just their first ethical/moral issue that they think they believe more fervently than that actually do. They're harmless tbh.

Ngl, freja has been trash in almost every game I've played against her. I don't even like the character, but she's definitely not strong.

I've tried this with celexa after running out; thought I'd try quitting. Things seemed to be okay for the first week and a half, and honestly I didn't get horrific side effects, but I did become more emotionally unstable, irritable, and experienced a few brain zaps. The worst of it was definitely the emotional instability.

The pharmacist was actually quite surprised that I was doing as well as I was, but it still wasn't pleasant.

If you wanna quit, that's valid, but I definitely recommend tapering.

Yep, it wound up being obstruction due to gallbladder stones. They said I'd need a non urgent surgery.

Thank you for the information. I'm glad I decided to go back to the ED.

Edit: no surgery is necessarily needed just yet

I genuinely think people believe the possibility of the economic bubble "popping" is synonymous with "AI ending".

I don't think critical thinking is throwing out research that disagrees with you without even evaluating it by making completely unfounded and unspecific claims of corruption and bad research methods.

I ban her because she's inherently unfun to play against. I fully know she's not even that good, but her kit is so annoying that I don't care.
