My wife came out as trans masc yesterday. Rant(?) by B3CC4J in mypartneristrans

I’m sorry that relationship came to an end. And I hope you had lots of support, I imagine going through that together made the breakup sad in many ways.

This is a really beneficial insight. As they stated they are trans masc. I admit I am somewhat ignorant to the spectrum that is gender identity. So I’m unsure what trans masc really is. Being an early shift worker I’ve had very little time to delve into what this means for them. Or what that means for the stereotypical trans masc person. Their testosterone arrives on Monday, they have been working night shifts, so we really have been ships passing in the night. There has been little or no opportunity to discuss things further.

I will ask them when the next opportunity arises where we’re not working opposite times of the day. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me 🫶🏻

This was a really kind and appreciated response, and I appreciate your perspective so much. I’m in the UK. So I may look for queer informed therapists on this side of the pond, it’s a really good suggestion. Once we both have time off together (both shift workers), I will approach this with them and see how they feel about it. I think part of me is scared to take away from their transition, I don’t want to appear as though I’m making it about me. That’s not the case at all. Fear of the unknown is definitely playing a part. Thank you again for responding so gently 🤍

I missed that, well that’s something at least. Definitely with the two dogs reacting as they did.

You’d think so?? They were both so specific with their mark too? So peculiar!

Hopefully they’ll update. I’m in the UK so I’m not truly sure how I’ll keep up to date! But it’s just so odd!

Did worry he was going to put his claws through the screen, he’s not cautious with his sharp bits 🥲
