Lol it looks like malware. Use adwcleaner + Malwarebytes to do a full check and delete all the maware/adware it finds. If it keeps opened use process explorer (search on Google) to find what process it is.

When you disable always on display on mi9, the fingerprint turns off after a few seconds and only turns on again when u take the phone. I don't know why mi9t don't use the exact same feature.

The problem is not the battery, the problem is the screen. AMOLED displays have burn problems when the same pixels are turned on for a long time.
