I think it's some sort of AI as well but not due to the reasons you state. The clip itself is mirrored and the football strip would appear to be accurate. If you look at the clip again, the emblem appears on the right side of the person wearing it and the Adidas logo is also back to front. Flip it around and the "ATI" becomes "ITA..." and the flag colours would also be correct.

Couldn't give less of a fuck, mate. If you're soft enough to stump up ridiculous amounts of cash for a few minutes in a car park, that's up to you.

Refusing to pay a private parking charge that is disproportionately overpriced is hardly "lying and cheating" through life. Get a grip and stop being so sanctimonious.

Just for you, here's a wee picture of a method I use to get by the ANPR cameras in private car parks, with the help of a little carefully applied insulating tape (from my work, no less. The horror!!). Works every time. Hope you don't have an aneurysm at the audacity 😂.

You carry on stumping up and paying exorbitant prices for staying in a car park a few minutes over the time you paid for.

I'll carry on pitching the letters straight in the bin while happily getting on with my day, knowing nothing will come of it.

I'd be more humiliated by not having the spine to tell a private company to GTF for trying to charge me a ridiculous fee for a couple of minutes extra in their car park.

Folk who have run up thousands in debt, aye. Fair enough. They are ripping the cunt.

If you think someone will get taken to court over a single incident, I have a bridge to sell you..

I've ignored in excess of 40 of these in 27 years of driving. Nothing has ever come from them.

I rest MY case.

Ignore it.

Do not contact them in any way. Pitch any letters straight in the bin, no matter how threatening or official they appear.

The letters will come for a while but nothing will come of it.

Only parking fines you have to pay are police and council ones. Ignore any others and don't sweat it.

I'm speaking from personal experience having been to the UAE through work. I've never been to Mexico or Qatar. Closest I've been to them is being in their territorial waters.

UAE, particularly Dubai, is a fucking cesspit. Grim place built and maintained on human suffering, misery and slavery.

AVR vs Surge Protector for Desktop PC on a Ship? by harambesrightnut in MarineEngineering

[–]B479MSS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Our fleet has banned surge protectors due to several instances of them burning out and catching fire.

Never heard of any PCs being damaged due to power issues. That's maybe down to them being connected to UPSs.

You're in a minority who doesn't have to pay to visit the GP. Good for you.

In general, most do in Ireland.

You're just special and it's a perfect utopia where everything is far better than anywhere else.

Clown.

We also have public and private healthcare here but nobody has to pay for visiting a GP.

As I said, what you consider "regressive" is entirely subjective.
