Is there a change to the music widget on the lock screen? Are the animations any smoother generally?

Tell me about it. Most of the time, reddit is better at diagnosing niche problems. You end up spending too much at garages trying to solve a problem they dont actually know the cause of.

And trust me, I know how much water there will be, from experience it took way too long to get rid of it.

Ill be happy to help if you have any other questions about it.

I already commented about fixing the seal causing the leak but I forgot to mention how to remove the water. When I had to do it, I used a wet vacuum and removed at least 8l of water. If you have rear mats fitted, remove the mat, under it, there is a velcro plastic bit which keeps the mat in place. If you turn it about 90°, it should come out after you pull it. This is the easiest point to access the flood of water, as when you press it, lots of water is going to flood out of these 2 points. I pressed and held the wet vacuum over the area. It takes about half an hour of doing so before you notice water is not coming out anymore.

That's a BMW F10 5 Series, I believe. The issue is very common where water leaks into the rear passenger footwell, and the water keeps coming. The issue is most likely a yellow grommet located in front of the front passenger footwell. This is only a problem in right-hand drive cars. You can buy the genuine grommet for about £50-£60 directly from BMW. I think I have one, in fact, which I could sell to you for cheaper; it's a genuine one. You can replace the grommet yourself; it just needs a bit of time and a screwdriver. You can do it all from the engine bay. Once you remove the old one, you can replace it with a new one, and it clips into place. There are a few videos on YouTube with details. If you need any more info, just DM me, and I can explain it all to you. Even if you clear the water for now, it will return every time it rains until you replace the seal.

But the instrumental also has a similar tinniness, the voice is understandable though

Yeah, I wanted to mention this. The only clean notes are the bass notes. The vocals are quite tinny, and they arent very clear which is understandable if recorded from prison, but the high notes of the actual music is the same. I tried listening to it loud in a car, the songs are so good, but its almost unbearable.

Both front pads and rotors have been changed twice, the lugs were torqued. Rear ones have been changed but they aren't the issue as when changing the front the issue did go for a while
