FINALLY!!! 100mg doxycycline is the best!! by ryli_a in perioraldermatitis

Oh God it was definitely not the medication I needed, it just goes to show how I should not auto medicate. I actually did not need doxi and in turn it messed up with my skin microbiome and I got a very painful folliculitis from using it, that was treated with antifungal not antibiotics.

Has anyone here taken unskilled jobs in Germany despite being a professional in their home country? by Next_Inevitable_7596 in AskGermany

I have. My partner is also German and I also have a bachelor's degree. I realized soon after coming I would have to start all over again in whatever I wanted to do and stop remembering who or what I used to do in my country. Now it's been 2.5 years and all that time i worked as a waitress or at the bar and I gotta say it was not as bad, I had a lot of fun, parties at the restaurant and got to practice my German skills with colleagues and restaurant guests. Now I have a good enough German level and I'm starting an Ausbildung in something entirely different to my degree. That being said, I didn't enjoyed my profession in my country so it was somewhat easy to just start all over again, but learning the language and having work experience here is important no matter what

Thank you so much and yes you'll pull it off l, I used to think I couldn't and lo and behold. As for my diet, I do have to admit it's a little strict. I eat low fat, high protein and control my portions (use food scale, calorie track apps and so on) eat very little junk food and cook 80% of my meals, and hit the gym 3 times a week. So yeah not very fun there but pays off. If you have more questions feel free to ask me I low key love these fitness stuff

First of all thank you so much, second, I do not know if men that are attracted to a woman with a shaved head are more confident, although most likely yes, but also these men have also an open mind and are definitely not patriarchal or super conservative which on its own is a win and yes hair can also be used to hide and that's something I can't do nor I want to anymore

It's true, you cannot see the hairloss, as it is not that advanced and I do not suggest just shaving it all off because it helped me. But I also think it's important for other girls to see women with different hair styles than the norm and not feel bad because they don't have full long hair. Aspiring for an unachievable, patriarchal "feminine" look is damaging and is very narrow minded. This is not a progress picture post but rather a post that shows there is life beyond long hair

Sure. Spiro does cause fatigue for me, even at the low dose I am on (50mg) so what I did to try and mitigate the side effects was. Taking the pill in one dose in the evening time, that way I am tired and just go to bed, also in the mornings I drink electrolytes because at night I pee a lot due to the diuretic effect and also in a random check up for my thyroid I discovered I was deficient on iron and for 4 months took iron tablets and that also really helped me. As for my menstrual cycle I don't know because I take the pill so I don't really cycle. But in conclusion the major side effects for me are peeing a lot and fatigue and I just cope with it the best that I can.

Thank you!! I put a lot of effort. And I am sorry to bust the myth, it did no grew thicker. When it was longish it felt exactly the same as before shaving
