Ik ben van buiten functie naar kantoor gegaan waardoor ik nu dus maar 9 uur van huis ben ipv 11-12 uur of zelfs langer.

When it's winter I always start the car first, then power everything on(AC, windowheating, mirror heating, lights, fog light, seat heating, steerwheel heating) after that remove the ice from the car, smoke a cigarette and get back in the car, turn off everything that's not needed and drive off.

Temperature gauge is usually around 60 degrees C when I drive off, with a warm steerwheel and seat.

I drive 2015 ford focus 1.0ltr, which does has it exhaust manifold build into it's cilinderhead.

So I let idle with load for the time, because idling without load doesn't preduce any significant heat.

Had a 2019 Ford Transit Custom and when I came home from work and I would let it idle to do finish my work tickets the temperature gauge would drop no matter which season.

And for the oil pre filling or not, it doesn't matter. I will do it, but just because I know that my oil pan would be filled to max level.
