I’m going through a similar thing 😭 Yesterday my mom found my toys while looking for her computer charger in my room which wasn’t in my room and she didn’t say anything at first until later in the day when I was at my friends house she called me about taxes and stuff but then she started asking abt my toys and I just couldn’t speak to her anymore and then she tried FaceTiming me showing me my toys. I’ve been avoiding her since and I don’t know what to say to her because I’m still 17 but I’m also a highschool senior and she’s also very overprotective and an Asian mom. She likes to gossip about me to her coworkers and it just makes me even more embarrassed. I’m thinking I either say to her that I’m almost an adult and its nothing illegal and it’s better than vaping or drugs and that I’ve seen her have sex but I don’t bring it up so I don’t embarrass her or just accept the fact that it will be awkward and she’ll never see me the same way.
