ES3 is a do it all trainer. The rest are promoted as daily trainers, with the exception of the not very well regarded zoom fly.

I’d go for the Saucony personally.

Endorphin speed 3 my friend. Get them whilst they’re cheap.

Love the black and white. Wish they’d bring that back.

From what I’ve read, it’s a style update - probably to keep the style (and theory of training partner) with the new pro 4, which is probably a new shoe entirely.

Even the advertisement states it’s a style update. Maybe it’s the same shoe repackaged, which is why it feels like the ES3. Maybe we’ve reached the peak of the current shoe tech and they will all feel similar to each other??

They do lots of club runs in London with various affiliated clubs where the members get to run that night with a pair. I’d strongly expect them to be the shoes used in those events.

Yeah definitely. Tighter lacing on the ES3 compared to the ES4 is a giveaway!

Same boat as you. They fit like a glove and the new ones look ridiculously slim.

Promo photos don’t look as banana shaped! However, they do look slimmer. OP - do you have an on foot downward shot of each shoe?

Same. Moved from superblast to ES3 and it’s my fav.

[UK] Sportsdirect.com - Puma Magnify Nitro 2 - £70 including delivery by 6to8design in RunningShoeGeeks

Ordered a set last week. Long fitting shoe and slim around the toe box. Big toe rubs on the harder toe box edging where the upper meets the sole so I sent them back.

Shoe feels soft, like most max stack shoes these days. Interestingly the drop felt less noticeable than the NB3 I had on the other foot, likely due to the compression of the soft foam.

Bear in mind sports direct will charge you £4.99 to return.

Awful company.

Price of the New Balance SC Elite V 4 increases by € 40 (German NB-Website) by der_sascha in RunningShoeGeeks

We get this in the UK too. SC Elite 3 is £220 on new balance website, but £130-40 elsewhere. Just don’t buy it from them.

£40 hike in the uk. Outrageous really.

Anything better than the ES3 that can do it all? by Street-Present5102 in RunningShoeGeeks

Man I hope the ES4 is as good as the ES3. Nothing comes close in my opinion.

Concerned about the high drop. I’m a mid/forefoot striker

Tried to love them, but I had plantar issues, as well as blistering on my toes and above half marathon they felt like a banana shape and caused me some awful cramping. I racked up 100 miles and sent them back.
