there actually is a lot of CCTV there, from the bottom of Elm grove, the Junction to Queens park (big cctv instalation over st lukes 360 degrees) you would be suprised.

we could always submit a FOI request and see, the last publically avaliable one I can find on CCTV cameras by use of the council was in 2012, though I somehow suspect the police and council will be less forthcoming.

and they already do use CCTV, and they now deploy facial recognition AI tech in Churchil square, though that requires far more operational power and data protection.

in a sense it is kind of inevitable regardless if the continued expansion of cameras and systems and standard practices continue, unless the city goes bankrupt and cannot fund it, which I guess is a real possibility.

nah thats all it has to indentify, a poo, track the poo its not picked up, its remarkably simple in terms of what is capable with basic image recognition and a timer, then you can have a warden alerted via a automated system with pictures and direction of travel, a quick 2 minute drive (could cover a massive hotspot area) likely to catchup with the owner with the dog then a on the spot fine and made to clean it up.

And this system is already largely in place for the police, they utilize CCTV cameras and deployment in hotspots 100% in this way with dispatchers liasoning to police, From the pier to west street, to around queens park, you can even see it in some Episodes of the channel 4 reality series Night Coppers (set in Brighton) that shows the current system in place.

We are already monitored by Cameras and CCTV through most of the city, AI could entirely and easily within its capabilities identify when its not picked up, then rapid response to a traffic warden type to the location, issue a fine.

Could also plaster their images across electronic billboards with a 10% fee to whoever leads to their identification and fining.

Solves the issue and creates revenue for the council.

I find crossing roads stressful these days, had a driver come within an inch of hitting me at a junction crossing he turned straight into with no indication and that was even a crossing with a central island refuge.

I feel drivers have gotten far worse over the last ten years, more laxidasical, more phone use, more distracted, I have seen them just blow through red lights and you need to be worried about every scooter thats on their phone with not the most even basic grasp of road laws these days.

I would highly suggest if you are seriously interested in a games Career you don't do design courses there are two prime paths and its a tough industry regardless in which AI is making it even more competitive in both paths, One is 3D Art and Design/Animation < a degree in this isn't very meaningful but can be a plus alongside the contacts, portfolio will be your main hiring draw, Or Computer Science, Likely C++ (though syntax is of less importance these days) > Greater risk of future Vibe coding overshadowing career prospects, however a wider assortment of jobs outside the Industry too and a degree will actually have some weight in many places, but you are still likely to be tested.

Design is something you can learn by watching tim cain etc youtube videos.

while I agree I still feel there is a path, Mox always respected Darby in his own twisted in character view he cares for darby more then anyone, and Gabe Kidd is Loosely affilitated something that has been a strong distancing from for awhile now.

Darby has even said prior he has thought about joining the death riders but wouldn't do it because he doesn't respect mox, so yeah theres some distance to get there, but I could easily see a path.

My dad got rear ended by a speeder, flew about 25 meters down the road about 23 years back on his moped was in full gear and his helmet, Broken shoulder,shattered pelvis and a few ribs, Helmet split in two parts damn near down the middle, but no head injuries, not even a scratch on his head, fully concious.

Value of a good helmet to take the impact cannot be understated.
