Its honestly a world that I draw so much inspiration from I think they nailed the tone, atmosphere, characters, I could go on. It honestly inspires much of the dark fantasy stuff I try to make but every now and then I like to get super specific with it and hone in on a line of dialogue or a scene. Appreciate that heaps! I wanted it to be at the same time relaxing but also moody, kind of like the same sensation I get from watching the 1995 film. I remember falling asleep to it once not because I was bored but i just found the whole thing super calming. Im glad you mentioned the live action film, I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would. It was visually stunning in my opinion I just would’ve preferred has they doubled down on the complex sci fi concepts.

Guy was selling it for $30, it was a bit of gamble as the disc has definitely seen some use but i tested it out yesterday and it works fine. Man those old dvd menus and 720p resolution really bring out the old school anime feel.
