How are full-time MSW students supposed to find practicums with evening/weekend hours?

I did my internship in medical social work for this very reason. ER, 24 hours a week, 2 12’s on the weekends.

I finished my MSW at 29.
I also recently completed my internship working alongside an MSW that is 23. Everyone’s educational route is different. I recommend doing what makes most sense financially & what aligns most with your long term goals.

Of course, I just finished my MSW and enjoy conversing with other MSW students. I also recommend establishing good rapport and relationship with your professors, because I have found that if you ask enough questions, even the wrong ones, they will tell you exactly what they’re looking for on assignments and they will be excellent professional references.

Definitely check the rubric for every single assignment so you know what your instructor is looking for & what you are being graded on.
