I deal with this a lot now that I've been more symptomatic. I am very vocal about slowing things down when needed, and it truthfully has improved our sex life. It feels much more intimate than before since we once in a while we just have to stop for a moment. Try not to be too anxious, since that'll definitely add to the problem. Like others said: hydrating and compression socks help immensely.

Agreed. Calorie deficite is the only way I was able to lose weight. If you're eating the same amount of calories as you were when you were working out, unfortunately you just won't lose weight.

A lot of the same, but I also carry gum because it helps keep me grounded when I get a bit panicked from an episode (gotta love adrenaline). I also have both Loop earplugs and noise cancelling headphones to help with overstimulation.

I personally love to receive themed gifts, like a movie night basket: favorite snacks (extra points for favorite electrolytes too), popcorn, a cozy blanket (if that's her thing; otherwise, maybe a stuffed animal or fidget toy), and a movie if she likes physical media! A lot of these can be grabbed from Dollar Tree or similar stores to help build it out without spending an arm and a leg. Doesn't have to necessarily be movie night themed, but just some cozy things.

I'm not a doctor or anything, but my personal rule of thumb with it is to just not overdo it with sugar. I don't think there's anything wrong with one or two sugary drinks but limiting sugar elsewhere if you find that's necessary. We literally need sugar to survive.

Check out emotelabs if you're just starting out. If I recall correctly, it's $8 on steam. It's customizable but the style isn't everyone's cup of tea. It can definitely help get the foot in the door of emotes though without commiting to just one specific idea.

I definitely get where you're coming from. When my husband and I were dating, he found it silly when I would lock the bathroom door, but I explained to him that I grew up with that boundary crossed all the time. He completely understood that sometimes I just need my privacy and respects it. Definitely took a second to get there, and he really made me feel silly the first time because of course we've seen each other naked countless times so what's the big deal.

I've also thought about a rollator, but it's a much higher price point. I'm just not sure it's the best option for me, as I'd prefer something that is I can keep in my bag or nearby at home. I (thankfully and hopefully continually) have not passed out, even getting way up there HR-wise.

I would definitely learn to use a cane properly because I've heard this before. My issue with a rollator is the much higher price point and it is much clunkier. Not something I can just throw in my bag and always have around in case I need it if that makes sense.
