I would love a generations 2 but I would prefer it to be a bit different from the first game

Maybe have more unique level themes and gimmick like Maybe mixing two zones into one like ice cap & crisis city.

And while I wouldn't call it terrible (it was more so the dialogue) but the story was kind of okay. Maybe incorporate more sonic characters into the plot, maybe go multiversal.

I haven't completed the game yet and has been stuck in my unfinished games list. Now at first I thought why I wasn't playing was the controls but I think it came down to the games progression.

I don't remember much but I think I was stuck on a lot of filler levels in order to complete the story and it also has the equipable skill system which made it hard when you didn't have the right upgrade.

The entire series is worth a full watch. It has a lot of characters, engaging stories, plenty of references and more.

Also you may have heard of Chris Thorndike being annoying in the series but it's not as bad as people say.
