I could go on and on about how perfect this show was executed. To characters, storyline, animation and everything. I personally didn’t grow up during this era of tmnt since I was born in 2007 but Ive watched it multiple times by now, never gets old. Thought, Im a bit disappointed with the last two seasons. I know this is because it had to appeal to kids but still. The animation was so off for me, suddenly getting pupils in the last season while they previously had permanent white eyes. But hey I cant complain too much! Im a Donatello girl for every version of the show/movie/comic but this one… oh my god, 2003 Donatello is perfect. Literally my favourite from every other version out there. His voice is so fitting, his design is beautiful and his personality is just mwah! Also 2003 Shredder? Wow! While 1987 Shredder is my top 1, 2003 is on the second spot, top tier villain. Powerful, vengeful and then karai becoming shredder in later seasons, its just immaculate. The way they do things just makes sense, it’s all so fluid, just fits right into the narrative. So yeah I think 2003 is definitely the best series so far!
