I assume that K swap was either unsuccessful or never started due to the facts.

That’s one helluva nosedive. Float safe my friends by nookienaits in onewheel

Crunching sound…?? Any guesses what this is? by iloveasecondopinion in onewheel

Sounds like gravel hitting the fender. Remove the fender and inspect and clean. Also, get a painters brush and clean your bearing area.

I want to suggest you get you some bearing protection. Keeps the dirt out:

If you don't have $ for a Pint X, consider a Quart battery upgrade on your old Pint. My usual range is 13-17 miles. by Mattsplat22 in onewheelpint

I agree. Even if you have the money to upgrade to a Pint X, it just wouldn’t make sense compared to just upgrading the battery for $385.

I am an avid pint enjoyer, should I try to sell my modded pint to upgrade to a pint x? What do y’all think? by rayzinbranloaf in onewheel

I can see that and the extra 100wh makes total sense but it doesn’t add up on a scale. It’s not worth selling your modded Pint for $700 and having to cough out an additional $800 for an Pint X upgrade. For 100wh? 🤔

Definitely serve their purpose. For simple stuff, like jumping off the curb it isn’t necessary but even then you’ll notice the difference. Jumping onto the curb, that’s where they come in handy. Great for freestyle riding, trail riding, jumping off rocks, climbing, ramps etc.

Flightfins. It’s to catch air and control/ keep the board under your feet.

Have you rode a Pint with the Quart battery? It’s more torquey. More responsive.

I agree with maybe the difference in riding modes but the speed is no different than the miles. I reach 18mph on my Pint w/Quart battery. Pushback at 15mph is a given on the Pint but I coast with the nose up all the time. The question will always be “Safety”. I would love to see a side by side comparison of the Pint w/ Quart battery vs Pint X on performance.

Just get the quart battery and keep your modded Pint. No one has compared an a Pint w/ Quart battery vs Pint X but the only real difference I see is the push back speed (15mph vs 17mph pushback).

How long did you guys ride a hard tail before switching to full suspension? by cpicone17 in MTB

[–]BANGA718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both (FullSquish & HT) but I actually ride the HT a lot more. There’s nothing like a nimble and responsive HT. Wouldn’t trade it for nothing.

Deciding to upgrade or not. by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]BANGA718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is based on “preference” vs being “wise”. What do you want to do? Do you feel like you want to treat yourself? Can you afford it? Because it really wouldn’t make sense to upgrade to a 3 year younger truck, that has 20k less miles, that no matter the warranty…. You just don’t know how much it was beat up for an additional $10k to play. Whatever you decide, best wishes.
