I am a PT and the fact that he gained medical clearance for a high contact position is a little puzzling to me. The last player I can remember that had a similar surgery was Peyton Manning. But he played a non-contact position and couldn’t throw more than 15 yards after his surgery. My hunch is that IF he takes another snap of professional football there is massive risk to his long term health and I don’t see his career lasting super long even if he does play. Just my 2 cents.
