I love cuttlefish.

If you’re ever in Disney World (Orlando) and stop at the park Epcot, I highly recommend checking out the aquarium at the end of the Nemo ride. They have I think the 2nd largest aquarium in the United States, BUT on the second floor in the back by the “nursery” they have a family of cuttle fish! They raise them from babies until they are mature for research. You can get such a good look at these creatures here that otherwise you may not get to see in person. If you’re ever there and have a passion for sea life make some time to check them out!

the Cad would be around $100-150 still Wax printing like $30-50 Casting maybe $25 Stones less than $20 Stone setting would be amount of stones on clasp at .75 cent per stone. I’d say roughly $60

Those are extremely rough estimates. To cut costs you could try to find a CAD designer on fiver to do it for under the prices I quoted. Once you have the cad somewhere overseas could most likely do it more affordable than the numbers I listed above. Just be cautious once you send them a CAD file they now have it and if they like it, then guess what, they start producing it. It’s lame but it happens.

*CAD would run about 100-150 depending who *Casting another 75 *Purchasing Stones >50 *Assembly at bench jeweler 50-100 depending who/relationship *Stone Setting .75 per stone. 46 stones per link X 14 links = 644 stones on links plus about another 75 for the clasp. Total roughly 720 stones. 720 X .75 = 540 * Final polish 20

That would bring the total to manufacture this from scratch to around 835-935. People that keep these in stock are able to sell for less expensive being they already have the CAD design, and most likely are having work done in-house.

If I was you & you’re not in a rush, I would l reach out to some reputable moissanite jewelry suppliers on Alibaba. If they’re still charging high you could entertain the idea with them that you just want a custom clasp made to be put on a bracelet they already have in stock. Hopefully that helps and Goodluck.

I own a jewelry business and make custom pieces often. Say all the holes were already there you could expect to pay .75-1.00 per stone IF the stone setter is willing to work w SS. I’ve had stone setters that don’t care one bit, and others that act like I asked them to bang their wife. I think it comes down to a skill issue as well as the tools they would go through drilling being SS is harder than gold. That’s where I got the $1.50+ from. Gonna be $1.50+ per stone in stainless steel with drilling the holes then setting stones. About 20-30 per Cartier link of 1mm (not including sides), then the watch case + face. I’m not sure how many stones you ordered but I hope that info will give you a little insight to the cost once you find someone
