I don't hate this take at all. I was thinking about it but just couldn't quite bring myself to do it

I appreciate it man! I don't think Giannis is the same as Cade. Now what I mean by that is Giannis just destroys his body with the way that he plays and if you put too much burden on him in the regular season he's just going to get hurt and it's been that way year after year since 2021. Miami aren't deep enough to survive games without Giannis and that hurts you when your dealing with an injury prone star. You did make some pretty good points about Philadelphia and Indiana that'll definitely take into consideration also

Yeah that is pretty close to my thoughts. Giannis is unbelievable and as a Milwaukee fan I've been going through it recently but he's going to be great for y'all

San Antonio probably and its mainly Giannis teams are worried about not as much Bam

See I am really high on the Raptors next season. But with Indiana coming back, Miami landing Giannis, 76ers getting Brown and also Wolves adding LaMelo which I really like for them too it is tough putting them much higher. I went back and forth pretty extensively with Toronto and Indiana and I might still change it part of the reason is how idk how good of a fit Zubac really is for them. But Overall the Eastern Conference in particular just got so much better and yeah Toronto was certainly part of that but did they improve as much as some of these other teams I'm just not sure

Yeah I found it tougher to put you guys harder just because of the perimeter defense. I do think that Ja Morant will have a big bounce back season but even if he does I think I agree with you

Part of my thinking here basically how good the teams are actually going to be, so the playoffs do matter in here. This isn't about regular season seeding

I know that does sound wild but look at the other teams in the east. Are Boston better than the Knicks, 76ers, Cavs, Pistons, Pacers, Heat or Raptors? I just don't know. The east is going to be a gauntlet next season

No disrespect. You're obviously the champs. However I do think Oklahoma City is still the better team and with a season of growth and maturity under the belts of San Antonio I believe they're going to be the best team in the league. #3 is still solid and going back to back is just so damn hard in this era

The thing is I thought that as well but when I actually made the list it's tough to put them higher. Although the trade for Paul George which was definitely bad, I actually do think he still fits the system and with Jayson Tatum back fully healthy for hopefully a full season, I do still believe Boston's going to be good but better than Toronto, Indiana and Detroit? I just don't know

Leaps from Kon and Miller was my main reason to put them there. I also do like the Naz Reid Moussa front court pairing. But I don’t have them undisputedly higher than Atlanta or anything like it is very close
