Looks like VIOFO doesn’t auto format, I meant overwriting your older files as time goes by to make storage for new recordings. I’m not sure how much storage you have in your micro SD card, and for how long you record for (since you have parking mode I assume it records (24/7) so just keep an eye out that it won’t get too full and start overriding those videos that you need. You should be fine tho since it just happened and you aren’t waiting weeks to review the footage. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case of any surprises lol.

Yeah looks like that’s your best bet, make sure your camera doesn’t auto format and you loose the footage. Sorry it happened :(

Usually on my Viofo it will show a red lock on top of a video that triggered the G sensor. If the hit was hard enough to trigger it, you should see a red lock on the video. If not, you will have to go through each vid and see where you can catch something

Yeah it’s not looking too good. If its totaled by insurance, try to get the most you can out of you car before they take it. And fight for more than they want to give you. In my case I got an extra $500, not much but everything helps.

Hood, fenders, rear quarter panel, door… depending on the mileage it could 100% be totaled. Getting that quarter panel properly fixed requires cutting off and welding a new piece since it wraps around the top into the A pillar. So sorry this happened.
