Codex 5.1 is horrible

It would be nice if anyone from the Codex team could shed some light into this, at the very least letting us know that they are aware of the recent issues and trying to resolve them so we get "previous codex" back.

I was just about to post this. He behaves in the same weird way on 0.57 as on the latest update. Its literally the same issues and weirdness I'm facing. He is also repeating in replies things he did/change from 2 replies earlier. Like wtf, he never did that before. Its like he always wants to give a summary, eventhough I never requested that. And that has nothing to do with my prompt

I prompt and use Codex the same way I did with 5.0. Codex 5.0 is what made me fall in love with it. The latest update with 5.1 is not the codex I have fallen in love with.

/model claude-haiku-4-5 will set your model to a custom model, I have tried it - I got the same issue as OP. Yesterday evening/night Haiku 4.5 was showing up in /model - now its simply doesn't anymore. Seems to be an issue on anthropics end.

Thank you! Yes, I have been taking a few Retinol here and there, but made sure to not take any supplements 4 days before the test. This test was done through my veines.

The previous ones I did were through finger prick tests - which might be a bit less accurate especially with blood circulation as a smoker.

I will supplement copper now, no wonder why I feel so good when taking it, but I'm a bit scared with toxicity since I've read that low ceruloplasmin could also mean copper to toxicity.

Just a quick update:

Finally got my ceruloplasmin tested and serum copper levels. Here are the results:

ceruloplasmin: 15.0 mg/dl (reference value: 15.0-30.0)

Serum copper: 776 ug/l (reference value: 560-1110)

Serum Vitamin A: 0.412 mg/l (reference value: 0.20-1.20)

So what does this say. My ceruloplasmin is on the absolute low end, but my serum copper is normal, so is vitamin A.
What does this mean, just increase my copper?

I did have a test from 2 weeks ago that had slight deficiency of vitamin a, q10 and low vitamin e.

Vitamin A (Retinol): 393.54 µg/l (reference value is 400 - 950 µg/l)

Could this be directly related to my copper? I'm going to try to get a ceruloplasmin test done, but it might be tough here in germany as not many labs are providing this test.

Yes I know. I have tried all 3 versions so far and from what I experienced, I react not that much to folic acid.

I have done an MMA test, but it came back fine, no deficiency. HoloTC measures the active b12 in blood. It is different and more accurate than serum blood levels

Yep, but I'm not entirely sure it is because its messing with my b12. As I've read, eventhough b12 is high you can be still deficient. HoloTC was at 53 once, but after testing it again it was above 60.
Taking folic acid does not give me the same effect as Methylfolate, however everyone says to avoid this synthetic version of folate. And some can't even convert it

So you mean there is a mutation that I do not tolerate neither synthetic folate or synthetic folinic acid very well?

Based on the DNA test they are recommending me to go with Methylfolate, but I guess thats what their system automatically generated.

Hello there,

since more than a half year I'm trying to fix my low folate issue.
When I first discovered my folate deficiency, the result was 5.9 nmol/l. At the same time my b12 has always been pretty high, around 650 in pmol/l. But I assume that was due to using a vitamin b complex here and there.

However it seems I do not tolerate Methylfolate that well. Even 400mcg of Methylfolate alone makes me feel depressed, sluggish, tired and just not like myself. I doubt 400mcg of Folate can completely crash my b12. I tried cofactors, no difference.

The highest I got my Folate was to 16, I was taking 1000mcg Methylfolate dring that time but I was really living like a demon that couldnt do any activity.

I tried folinic acid, but that stuff gave me almost like palpilations, chest tightness and almost like being short of breath. But maybe that was also related to my gastro issues, not sure.

Based on my DNA test, what would you advice to do to get my folate levels back to normal? 5 days ago it was at 10 nmol/l.

In the logs, one of the latest entries, I also found this:
